Introduction

In any organization that aims to achieve success, leadership is essential. A leader’s main activity is to fulfill goals and objectives. It is the responsibility of such people to solve problems and achieve goals. It is the responsibility of leaders to mentor aspiring employees who are too young and have little experience. The ultimate goal of this approach is to help employees adapt more quickly to the company. Similarly, large companies have a similar mechanism in the military, allowing for the unification of combat abilities. For this organization, a leader is necessary because soldiers, like employees, need the motivation to succeed. This paper examines the army type of leadership and its main characteristics. The topic and aspect of leadership are attractive because this type is complex, as it consists of many issues. In addition, it is essential to emphasize three basic levels of leadership in the army environment, which will be discussed later.

Organizing a tiered leadership system as in Army units allows for an environment in which both the employee and the supervisor understand the organization’s goals. At this point, there are direct, organizational, and strategic levels of leadership influence (Wiggs, 2020). The first level (direct) implies direct leadership through direct contact between the parties. The second level (organizational) is expressed in the management of processes through supervised leaders. The third level (strategic) includes leaders who determine the direction of the enterprise. The foundation of army leadership begins to emerge in minor details. Leadership comes from the team, department, or other authoritative groups. Careful oversight is necessary for young employees because they spend quite a bit of time within the work process. Supervisors need to pay special attention to providing timely assistance to co-workers. This measure forces individuals far from fully supervised to apply their leadership skills, motivating the rest of the staff to achieve their desired results (Wiggs, 2020). However, it is essential to realize that this characteristic does not apply only to Army leaders. The following discusses what qualities and knowledge a leader must have to meet specific requirements.

Personality

First, the character of the leader has a direct impact on the ways and methods of leadership. Every Army leader must have a good moral character to avoid losing authority. Influence and motivation are critical skills for the leader of an organization. The Department of Defense has introduced several characteristics for a potential leader (Wiggs, 2020). For example, every Army leader must demean the company’s values and show empathy, discipline, and humility. By meeting the above requirements, the leader will succeed in the company’s development. In addition, loyalty, understanding, listening and listening skills, and being executive are vital traits. However, the character is not the absolute of an army leader, and it does not end with the traits that allow they to influence subordinates. A leader with skills and no developed personality traits is an idiot. A person is seeking to look good in the eyes of others and get the job done. Leaders without specific skills and developed personalities lead their team by relying on the expertise of team members. They usually make good decisions for the greater good. Second, an equally important quality is present, which shows in practice how effective the leader is. This criterion can explain a leader’s level of success and influence among subordinates. Army leaders must be present and make qualitative changes to the company’s organization. Leaders of this type have many options to show how well they meet this criterion. An open demonstration of confidence, competence, and stress tolerance are the main qualities that will tell the story of a true leader. Leadership by example is about inspiring those around you to follow you. Military leaders are the best critics of themselves, so they put a lot of pressure on themselves (Wiggs, 2020). Exceptional leaders must be smarter, run faster, and shoot more accurately than their subordinates. Leaders are elite performers who exceed set standards.

Third, organizations, like the army, quote highly on leaders with high intelligence and a broad knowledge and skill base. A leader’s knowledge is a complex and multi-valued phenomenon that includes talent, innovation, appropriateness, and interpersonal relationships. Designated competencies are essential because they are necessary adaptations to new environments. In addition, the articulated qualities help shape and justify opinions and tasks. Army leaders with a high intellectual ability usually excel at leading and motivating the rest of the workforce (Wiggs, 2020). When exercising leadership, the leader must consider the condition of his subordinates. When workers are tired and emotionally burned out, the leader must use his wisdom to organize coherent and effective work. A leader, like a commander in the military, needs to confirm authority by example (Wiggs, 2020). Some of the qualities discussed may be innate, but they will develop without regular training and coaching. By applying existing practices, the leader will be wise and competent. Fourth, military leaders are trained to have an impeccable approach to military dress and professional issue. Military leaders have neat hairstyles, their uniforms fit them perfectly, and they are in great shape. They look and act in a special way. It’s not about being a robot, it’s about having self-discipline, a sense of dignity and self-respect. An Army leader must inspire those around him through his appearance. This character trait is almost non-existent in the civilian world. Startups take pride in themselves for being open, for allowing themselves to wear loose T-shirts and jeans, and for employees to call each other by name. That said, it’s hard to inspire people in business by being scruffy, overweight, and overly familiar with others.

Conclusion

The essay demonstrated how important Army leadership in companies is to developing success. Motivation is a key fact that ensures the development of the organization and solving complex problems. Each of the levels of this approach explains how communication goes from the leader to the subordinate. Character, presence, and knowledge are important to an organization as they are to army units. These components are important because they are sources of influence on the subordinate and help solve problems in a timely manner. The basis of army leadership is an important, but also debatable issue that includes many details that allow the benefits of this type of leadership to be fully considered. Not everyone will be able or want to serve in the armed forces, but many leaders can pick up the traits that make military leaders so successful. In addition, it is not uncommon for former military officers to become major directors in organizations far removed from the military. There are many examples where this approach has fully justified itself.
