Governmental Role in Health and Education Fields

Introduction

Government is the most influential institution in a country because it has the economic power to make significant changes in all national systems. Indeed, law enforcement, education, transportation, health manufacturing, and business depend on the administration’s decisions and financial support. Politicians tend to select one of these sectors to build their electoral campaigns around, yet they are frequently lobbied or based on personal interest. I believe that governments should prioritize their citizens’ quality of life and well-being, and therefore spend more money on programs dedicated to improving health care and education.

Health and Education Government Priorities

Health is vital to any nation’s quality of life; people will not be interested in improving their economy or building a better society if they are suffering from diseases. The government might not be able to regulate the innovativeness of treatment in its hospitals; however, it can make health care affordable for all citizens. The recent COVID-19 pandemic demonstrated how access to at least basic hospital procedures is important for people’s health nationwide. Governments may spend money on funding medical organizations, nursing education, and investing in related businesses or suppliers.

Education is another institution worth the government’s money because its quality determines the country’s future and potential for development. In many modern countries, schools and universities are municipal and depend on the administration’s support spent on making appropriate conditions for learning and providing competitive wages for employees. Institutions that lack the government’s funding underdeliver in educating young generations, who grow up less competitive and innovative.

Conclusion

To conclude, health and education are the most individual-centered aspects of life, and spending money on related institutions means that the government takes care of every citizen. In return, healthy and educated people will build better communities and businesses nationwide, making a country thriving and internationally powerful.
