The Journal of the Association of Nurses in AIDS Care was selected for submission of the research. It is the official journal of the Association of Nurses in AIDS Care. The reason for choosing this particular journal is that it is a peer-reviewed journal that has an outstanding reputation in publishing a wide range of issues in HIV infection, particularly the prevention, clinical practice issues, education, advocacy, program development, policy, and research.
The journal is indexed in many databases connected with nursing and medicine, which signifies its availability and wide audience. As for the submitting criteria for the journal, the journal’s guidelines are divided into two categories, namely, major articles that provide full-scale studies and research briefs that provide case studies and pilot projects. No particular abstract structures for submissions are presented. The recommended format for abstract submissions is not required; therefore, it is suggested to include the problem statement, purpose, research questions, hypothesis, methodology, project implementation, results, and conclusion.

Recommendations for and the Role of Nurses in the HIV Prevention in PLWH in the United States.
Problem Statement
The role of nurses who work in HIV planning groups and health departments is significant in the intervention of preventing the transmission of HIV from persons living with HIV (PLWH).
Purpose of the Project
The purpose of this research project is to identify the recommendations for nurses working in health departments on how to avert the HIV infection diffusion, increase the percentage of PLWH who know that they have this infection, and reduce the percentage of morbidity and mortality from HIV.
Research Question
What are the most effective recommendations for nurses to prevent HIV in adults and adolescents in the USA?
Hypothesis
It is assumed that partnerships between the service providers of PLWH and PLWH themselves can foster communication, collaboration, and responsibility for the prevention of HIV, which would benefit both community and separate individuals.
Methodology
The most appropriate methodology for this research project is interviewing, as its purpose is to identify the most effective recommendations for nurses to prevent the HIV diffusion. Surveys are also the appropriate method for this project in order to analyze the statistics of the effectiveness of different methods from the most effective to the least one.
Steps of Research Implementation
A number of nurses will be randomly chosen and proposed new methods for the HIV prevention. Then, these nurses will be interviewed. They will answer a set of questions regarding the effectiveness of these methods and will choose the most appropriate ones. Surveys should also be conducted to analyze the efficaciousness of the proposed intervention methods.
Results
The hypothesis was confirmed. The recommended partnerships between the service providers of PLWH and PLWH themselves increase communication, collaboration, and responsibility for the HIV prevention.
Conclusion
With the successful implementation of the proposed recommendations, multi-professional teams and advanced practice nurses can work together in order to provide high-quality care to PLWH aiming to prevent the transmission of HIV. Thus, as advocates, technical experts, and leaders in community and clinical settings, professional nurses will continue playing a crucial role in the HIV prevention in the USA.
Impact on the Nursing Career
The effective recommendations for the HIV prevention should be incorporated into nursing education programs so that students know how to prevent the diffusion of this lethal disease and to provide care for PLWH. Additionally, students should be aware of the structural and social factors that influence the use of care and prevention services and be familiar with policies and laws regarding the HIV status disclosure and the duties of a provider regarding informed consent, confidentiality, and case reporting.
