Vision Statement
For hundreds of years people are fighting for social justice and human rights in order to contribute to the appearance of better living conditions in the world. Philosophers, artists, and scientists are famous for their individual influence in addressing different societal problems as well as for the creation of various philanthropic associations and organizations. In the contemporary environment, media personalities and celebrities also take part in such activities. For instance, Rihanna is famous for speaking up about racism and equality, and Kim Kardashian is praised for raising awareness and educating people about the Armenian culture (McCarthy, 2018). This tendency gives hope that the modern generation will be more interested in societal questions and work with the aim of bringing positive change into the world. Therefore, the non-profit organization Legend in My Section is inspired by the past, present, and future activities in various essential industries for contemporary society.
Mission Statement
The main goal of the non-profit association is to educate young individuals about the past, present, and future. The mission statement is based on the idea that individuals have to work hard in order to make a contribution to the development of modern society. Those people who have enough authority and recognition have the unique power of raising awareness and spreading the world about societal issues and challenges. In addition, by making significant contributions to art, music, literature, and science, they educate the world’s population and encourage them to be interested in whatever is happening in the world. For this reason, the non-profit organization Legend in My Section wants to contribute to the process of educating youth by building relationships, organizing discussions, and promoting change and justice. If the young generation is educated about legendary individuals and their activities, they will be more motivated to make their own contributions.
