Introduction
Nurses should monitor the major issues their patients face and consider appropriate procedures to empower them. The paper below outlines my challenges as a nurse and the best strategies to tackle them. It also describes my future objectives and how I will transform my community. The final part categorizes various issues pursued by different interest groups in the country.
Challenges and Strategies
Nurses encounter numerous challenges that make it impossible for them to achieve their potential. Personally, I have faced several obstacles over the years. The first one is that I usually find it hard to apply theoretical knowledge in different clinical settings. The second one is the inability to offer holistic medical services to patients from diverse backgrounds. The third challenge is that I have been working for more hours due to the problem of nursing shortage.
I have been embracing various strategies to overcome these predicaments. The first one is the use of a powerful concept called lifelong learning. This practice makes it easier for me to acquire new ideas and apply them in different settings to meet my patients’ needs. The second initiative is the power of teamwork. I usually form multidisciplinary teams in order to provide superior services to individuals from different ethnic, religious, and cultural backgrounds. This approach ensures that different groups provide exemplary medical services (Saifan, Safieh, Milbes, & Shibly, 2015). I have been unable to solve the third challenge. However, I always encourage health leaders (HLs) to hire more practitioners and nurse aids to address this gap.
My Future Goals
Towards the future, I am planning to focus on new ideas and concepts that will empower me to meet my patients’ needs. I will engage in continuous learning, form new teams, and embrace appropriate leadership skills that will guide me to advocate my patients’ health needs.
The power of primary and team nursing care models will support more patients (Payne & Steakley, 2015). I will collaborate with different professionals to implement superior campaigns and programs for improving my community’s health outcomes. I will also partner with both public health and human services professionals in order to empower more people in the community. I will embrace emerging ideas and technologies to improve my nursing philosophy. It will be appropriate to complete new academic programs in order to become a skilled practitioner.
Interest Groups
The presented piece, “Medicaid Expansion Advocates Eye 2020 Targets” identifies a number of issues that different stakeholders should take into consideration in an attempt to transform the United States health sector (Cancryn, 2018). The major interest groups presented in this article include state governments, the Fairness Project, policymakers or politicians, the Food and Drug Administration (FDA), Democrats, and the Pharmaceutical Research and Manufacturers of America (PhRMA). The unique interests of such groups are presented in the table below (see Figure 1). Their categories are also presented accordingly.

Conclusion
The above discussion has revealed that nurses encounter numerous challenges that might affect their objectives. I will engage in lifelong learning to achieve my goals and address the issues affecting my community. Nurses should also be aware of the above interests and propose evidence-based policies to transform the country’s health sector.
