Disaster Management Plan

In case of such disaster as hurricane, MAP-IT framework may be applied to address the occurred challenges. First, mobilization of the existing resources would allow using health care facilities and tools to evaluate the disaster, including its current effects and potential consequences. After planning the evacuation and assessing risks, Miami Jewish Health Systems – residential living may be contacted to relocate people from their housings and provide necessary emergency care. After that, the on-going monitoring of health statuses of patients should be established to identify change and improve nursing care.
