Every project is a mutually-connected system that includes numerous operations. According to Jacobs and Chase (2014), a project is a set of related jobs that are directed toward a specific outcome. Usually, it takes some time and effort for a project team to achieve the desired goal. Thus, the principal task of the given assignment is to explain what can happen if a project stage is not completed and if a stakeholder decides not to participate in the project implementation.
As has been mentioned, a project is a system that consists of mutually-related stages. Thus, it is necessary to complete a specific step before moving to the following one. For example, Rongala (2019) states that any project implies initiation, planning, execution, monitoring, and closure. As a result, if a team decides to start executing the project without having its comprehensive plan in hand, it is more likely to witness severe issues. As a result, it will be necessary to spend more effort to solve the existing challenges. In addition to that, it is a significant problem if a stakeholder does not participate in the project implementation. It is so because projects are designed and planned according to the existing stakeholders, and if any of them drops out, it harms the plans and budget. As a result, it becomes almost impossible to achieve the desired outcomes.
In conclusion, project management is a complicated process that implies numerous stages and requirements. If one wants to make their project successful, it is reasonable to invest sufficient efforts in designing, planning, implementing, and monitoring their activities. It is necessary to be sequential here because every completed stage is a useful base for further development. Finally, one should make sure that all stakeholders participate in the project implementation since the absence of any of them can destroy the whole process.
