Leadership is the achievement of an objective through the direction of human assistance. It is less about a strong individual but more about a group of people working together, to achieve results. Nobody is born a leader, but an individual becomes a leader because one is trustworthy, and people would love to follow them. I believe that leaders should provide leadership opportunities to others since my leadership style is one in which everyone can try things out. I think leadership is about learning and sharing knowledge in that when I share my experience with others, they can take up the challenge. This paper describes what leadership means to me and how I can further develop my leadership skills.
The most important feature that differentiates a leader from other people is the ability to think deliberately and that the vision drives a leader’s strategy. I think leadership needs influential people to achieve the commonly shared goals that we have established together (Starr, 2017). In a leadership role, it is significant to have a good understanding of each team member. Getting to know the importance of leadership is very important, although the vital component to concentrate on is what stages can be taken to advance one’s leadership abilities (Starr, 2017). I would be an inspiration to develop my leadership skills further since being a good leader depends on how one works.
I would be able to motivate others and drive them to their best in the worst circumstances. I would keep learning since we learn and grow every day, and experience makes good leaders. The best way to raise leadership skills is to take on more responsibilities and be more experienced. A good understanding of leadership includes what is important and motivational to the people. Anyone who progresses in the leadership roles should remember it is not always about them but a responsibility to serve others. Effective leadership is the basis for any business or organization, and providing adequate training for existing and new leaders is equally important for a better future.
