The first thing I have learned from watching the video is the importance of uniting to create a global world. Globalization makes it easier to solve universal challenges that affect populations nationally and internationally, such as unemployment, disruption of migration flows, and climate change (Cahen-Salvador, 2020). Secondly, I have learned that the most crucial aspect of achieving globalization is uniting beyond borders. People must think and act beyond nationalities and individual interests to reach a global society. Finally, effective globalization methods include creating movements that promote international unity and intergovernmental collaborations worldwide. Countries can have a common platform for sharing resources, information, and goals to solve global challenges (Cahen-Salvador, 2020). Individuals can also create websites and discussion forums that encourage globalization, such as discussing topics that concern populations worldwide.
Americans can follow the speaker’s guidance by looking beyond cultural, ethnic, and national interests. Globalization can only be achieved if people overlook cultural and international differences and aim at uniting for a standard course (Cahen-Salvador, 2020). People should have the courage to cross universal borders and encourage people to cooperate toward one economically and socially stable society. Secondly, individuals ought to change their views about the world to better understand and collaborate with the rest of the world (Cahen-Salvador, 2020). Americans need to view the world as a society with different opportunities that can bring beneficial change through international connections and collaborations.
Completing this assignment has made me realize that globalization is significant in solving universal challenges and bringing social and economic stability. A global world promotes innovation, cultural interaction, technological discoveries, and sharing of resourceful information across borders that can help affected populations. The key to globalization is international collaboration through cross-border movements and finding global goals rather than working with national interests (Cahen-Salvador, 2020). Embracing a global world is essential in providing better access to better living, healthy populations, and solving environmental issues that affect people universally.
