Technology Use in Early Education Program

Technology is a part of every aspect of our life in the modern world. Awareness and knowledge are essential for early childhood educators to keep up with the always-occurring changes. A massive increase in kid-friendly programming can be used in classrooms. An innovative educator knows that avoiding technological exposure will make it impossible to educate our children for the future. Children must be prepared to use technology and be educated, autonomous, productive, and creative thinkers eager to leave their impact on society.

The teachers must present programs and devices related to the student’s academic experiences that are developmentally appropriate to integrate technology successfully into the classrooms. Interactive media and technology can increase children’s access to fresh, cutting-edge content and help them learn new skills (American Academy of Pediatrics). Using an iPod or iPad to record quickly and playback information might aid kids with fluency and emotion when reading aloud (Anderson et al.). Students can understand what it is to read expressively. Students can participate actively in demonstrating their writing talents by using interactive whiteboards.

Regarding group activities, students can participate in reading groups to conduct online research to learn more about various themes. Students can read the information on their tablets at home with digital books, which encourages parental involvement. Teachers can help their pupils self-regulate while finishing their work by using a virtual timer to set an accountable tone (Blagojevic et al.). When integrating technology into the classroom, the teacher’s job is to assess its appropriateness, incorporate the process into a typical learning environment, decide whether to grant children with special needs equitable access to technology, avoid stereotypes and violence in software, and involve parents as advocates (Blagojevic et al.). Technology and interactive displays enable teachers to communicate with students in the classroom and provide brief samples of the kids’ daily work for parents to view. Sharing information and interacting with one another is crucial in forging stronger bonds with parents and improving family engagements as technology becomes more pervasive in our culture (Blagojevic et al.). It provides chances to keep in touch and exchange knowledge while giving parents and families online tools.

In conclusion, technology will play a significant role in how students learn in the future. Teachers need complete training and assistance to ensure that technology is used properly by educators. Teachers must always work to use technology in individualized ways, address learning disabilities, and consider various learning styles if they want to integrate them into the classrooms successfully.
