The Issue of Low Staffing in Nursing

As stated by the report of The World Health Organization “A Universal Truth: No health without a workforce,” made at the Third Global Forum on Human Resources for Health in November 2013, noted that in 2035 there would be a shortage of 12.9 million workers in the world health. Modern Problems of the development of healthcare staffing are multicomponent. Pour incentives to improve the professional level systematically. Evidence-based medicine is based on the clinical experience of competent clinicians, and on the use in the practice of modern technologies based on scientific research results (Every-Palmer, S., & Howick, J., 2014). The task of the clinician is to find the best scientifically valid data and correctly interpret them in each specific situation. However, there is not always time for searching and analyzing information, and additional knowledge is required to evaluate an article critically and, finally, there are unexplored areas in medicine for which it is impossible to find publications.

Nursing Intervention and Practice

Does nursing intervention and practice influence outcome in a patient population not currently receiving the intervention over the timeframe needed to implement the change process? A severe limitation of the existing system of rendering medical care to the community is the lack of general principles and approaches to the organization of the work of nursing personnel (Jansson et al., 2014). Nowadays, there is no uniform system for managing nursing services at all levels, which negatively affects the quality and effectiveness of nursing staff. Improvement of the quality of nursing assistants will be facilitated by the implementation of a set of measures for standardization, licensing, accreditation and certification. The culture of nursing, ethical standards of conduct, respect for the rights of the patient should be the basis for the professional activities of nursing staff in all its organizational forms.

Patient Care and Health Care Agency

Does Patient Care and Health Care Agency influence the better outcome in a patient population not currently receiving the intervention over timeframe needed to implement the change process? A psychological contract should be established between the sister and the patient during every medical examination. The patient should trust the medical worker; feel confident that he will be taken care of correctly and at the level corresponding to the achievements of modern medicine (Allender, J. A., Warner, K. D., Rector, C. L., & Allender, J. A., 2014). Psychological characteristics of the patient in the context of therapeutic relationships and interaction are exposed to the psychological aspects of the medical worker (Greenhalgh, T., 2014). In addition, persons involved in connection with the patient may be a doctor, a psychologist, a nurse, a social worker.

Conclusion

The management of the modern health care system is of strategic importance and is closely linked to the provision of high human resources. Currently, there are some critical personnel-related problems in health care. The main ones are a severe staff imbalance, determined by the shortage of some categories of medical workers, the problems of evidence-based medicine, and the relationship between the patient and the physician. In this regard, nurses are a labor resource burdened by a multitude of extra functions that are not peculiar to them. Thus, the urgent problems and contradictions first of all can be eliminated by increasing the number of posts and rates, and the efficiency and rationality of using medical personnel remain in the second place.
