The Mental Health of Medical Staff

In the interview, the mentor was asked many questions related to the mental health of medical staff when working with critical patients. A good theme for the project could be the policy issues that the hospital promotes to support the team. Moreover, questions about analysis and data collection can help the project. Process needs, inventory management, and interview quality issues are related to the explanation and delineation of hospital policy. Thus, the experience and satisfaction of patients and clients are analyzed through data collection. At the same time, the ideas of new business projects, staffing, and cost containment are built based on ongoing statistics.

When asked about support for the plan, the chief medical officer replied that the hospital needed policy monitoring and further changes. What interests me the most is how to maintain the mental health of medical staff when working with critically ill patients. This is important as doctors and nurses can experience burnout and energy loss at work. In the final project, I can pay more attention to the methods taken to support the medical staff.

Currently, healthcare professionals continue to feel insecure and burnout. Thus, more than 1000 nurses and doctors experience psychological problems when working with infected patients (Vizhen et al., 2020). However, the study requires extended analysis for a more accurate assessment. To solve the problem, the organization uses an analysis of the condition of medical workers after communicating with critical patients and subsequent psychological assistance. The state assessment occurs in a separately defined program, where a change in the mood of nurses and doctors is noted, and the data obtained are compared and analyzed. The organization uses the ideology that in case of death and unsuccessful treatment of the patient, the employee should not blame himself. This can be correlated with the biblical concept that a person should not condemn anyone lest he is convicted.
