Choosing a mate whether for along term commitment or dating can be a very difficult decision to make. One has to carefully ask him/herself, what is it they really are looking for, for instance is it just to date for fun? Are you looking for a life time mate? Are you emotionally attached to your mate? Are you physically attracted to him or her and many other factors? One of the most important factors to consider before choosing your mate is Personality.Good personality includes respect towards you or other people, being nice, having a sense of humor, maturity, attitude towards life and a positive self esteem. Good behavior too is a positive personality for a good mate to have. As often stated, nobody is perfect but there are people who exhibit good personality.
Attraction is another important factor. One doesn’t really have to be handsome or beautiful to be attractive. A good body and a good choice of dressing increases the attractiveness of a potential mate and paying attention to one’s looks for example a regular hair cut for men, well ironed clothes and a good cologne adds up.
