User Interface Challenges: Docuware Interface

The development of the inclusion of smartphones and computers is an obligatory and vital part of the modern world. The most promising solutions include fast, interactive communication with helpers and volunteers, as in the Be My Eyes app for the visually impaired, and those responsible for restoring motor skills and dexterity after long-term or severe illnesses, as in the Dexteria application. Interactivity in the interface should be reduced to the necessary, convenient minimum. Visually impaired people are forced to rely mainly on memory and logic when interacting with the touchscreens of phones or tablets.

For this reason alone, designers should strive to minimize the cognitive load on screen readers. Blind or visually impaired people turn to touch devices for the same reasons everyone else does: portability and accessibility on the go. Visually impaired people also need access to these opportunities. In addition, today, particular applications for people with cognitive impairments help identify colors, currency, product labels – and other objects. Finally, screen readers are programs that identify screen elements and convey information about them to the user using sound or Braille.

Speaking of Docuware, I agree that this software has a relatively user-friendly interface. This company is focused on working with documents, automating processes, and saving human time (Docuware, 2022). Since this software is used in hospitals, it is subject to excessive work requirements since delays and errors in this area must be excluded. The integration approach of an application with the ability to use the flow of information between different applications can be used in the applications described above as one of the foundations of a user-friendly interface.
