Introduction
Art is one of the aspects that have primarily impacted the appearance of many cities in different countries. For instance, ancient buildings in contemporary Los Angeles can be noticed by people due to their different unique features. The architects of the buildings drew their inspirations from the ancient world, and some of the structures have the characteristics of Greek and Roman features. People have learned that the contemporary world is surrounded by aesthetics and remnants, making different regions more beautiful. This report analyzes the different buildings in contemporary Los Angeles, the history of Spain and Mexico in the region, and the Native American presence.
Nuestra Senora la Reina de Los Angeles
Nuestra Senora la Reina de Los Angeles is one of the oldest buildings in the region that was owned by the Spanish and later on by the Americans. It has been termed as one of the cultural monuments of Los Angeles city with its various ancient features. For instance, it has aspects that reflect ancient art such as the design involving the Greek and Roman approaches. The roman rounded arches have also been used in the structure making it reflect back to the ancient architecture. The structure was completed many years ago, and it has historical features that the architects designed to ensure that it is more attractive. For instance, it has been designed using Spanish designs as the Spanish first owned it and the use of circular columns brings the ancient features in the structure. Native Americans have also developed various parts of the structure and other buildings in the region, such as the La Placita Church, Old Plaza Firehouse, and Los Angeles Plaza Park.
Angels Flight
Another ancient building in Los Angeles is the Angeles Flight. The building is famous due to its unique appearance and has been termed one of Bunker Hill’s landmarks. The use of ancient features has led to the increased popularity of the structure with aspects such as the columns in the structure being designed using the ancient approach. It has operated for decades and was financed by Colonel Eddy. The traditional architects designed the structure, and counterbalanced cars were used to carry passengers. Circular columns and the distance between the columns were developed using the ancient style. However, it was later closed for reconstruction, and some of its old features were abolished. Therefore, individuals have primarily analyzed the structure when focusing on ancient buildings in contemporary Los Angeles.
Bradbury Building
Bradbury Buildings is a famous architectural landmark in Los Angeles and is one of the oldest structures Downtown. The building was built many years ago, which shows that it is one of the ancient structures in the region. Moreover, it was built in Renaissance revival architecture style by George woman and Summer Hunt. Circular structures and tapered domes with flat-bended cantilevered courses have been used in the Bradbury building. The features were largely used in ancient buildings by Roman and Greek architects. Many people have visited the building due to the popularity of its impressive skylit atrium of access walkways and elevators. The architecture also used ornate ironwork in the building, making it one of Downtown’s most attractive ancient buildings. Therefore, the building is a tourist attraction in the area and used by many architects during their study of the ancient buildings in the region.
History of Spanish Culture in Los Angeles
The history of Los Angeles can be analyzed by focusing on various aspects. One of the factors is analyzing the Spanish rule in the region, which led to the construction of many structures in the Spanish style. The Spanish missionaries started their different missions, such as Mission San Diego de Alcala and California missions. Additionally, forts were built by the Spanish military forces and some towns in the region (Vives, 2020). The towns grew rapidly, with most of the buildings being designed by Spanish architects. Moreover, one of the towns that the Spaniards developed grew and became Los Angeles city. The coastal exploration by Spain also led to many Spaniards settling along the coast. Los Angeles was also part of New Spain until the kingdom dissolved it. Therefore, Spain had a great influence on the growth and development of Los Angeles.
History of Natives in Los Angeles
The development of Los Angeles was also impacted by its natives. The Indian tribes, namely the Venturino, Gabrieleno, and Fernandeno were the three Native American tribes in Los Angeles. Although the Mexicans and the Spaniards largely influenced them, the natives were part of the group that developed Los Angeles. Moreover, the presence of the natives in contemporary Los Angeles shows that they have been in the region for decades. Some of the buildings in the city were also built by the natives. For instance, the Variety Arts Center building in Downtown is a five-story Italian Renaissance Revival style designed by Alisson and Alisson. Many natives participated in its construction by providing a workforce. Therefore, the natives and a great impact on the development of various structures in Los Angeles since they were also a source of labor during the construction of the building.
History of Mexicans in Los Angeles
Mexicans were also involved in the development of Los Angeles since they have lived in the region for many years. Mexican Empire was one of the aspects that led to the increased number of Mexicans in Los Angeles (Gonzales, 2019). Moreover, the Mexican government ensured that it closed all Spanish missions to avoid the influence of the Roman Catholics. Additionally, the development of different structures in the region was exercised by the Mexicans. The presence of people of Mexican descent in Los Angeles has also been analyzed, whereby a large number of people immigrating from Mexico were recorded. The Mexicans were also a source of labor during the construction of different structures in the region. Thus. Mexicans also primarily impacted the development and growth of contemporary Los Angeles.

The Mexicans were also involved in the growth of Los Angeles since they provided labor during the construction of various buildings. Additionally, the Natives developed the region as they engaged in the building of various structures. Thus, different aspects can be analyzed regarding the ancient buildings and contemporary Los Angeles.
