Since its founding in 1976, the business has consistently ranked among the world’s biggest technology companies, among such powerhouses as Amazon, Facebook, and Google (Komalavalli & Laroiya, 2019). The company has offices worldwide, including in Japan, China, Europe, and Asia Pacific. Apple Inc. is a global organization whose success depends on the combined efforts of its many workers and management. The company’s operational management makes use of many options that boost productivity. Apple Inc’s rigorous commitment to quality control has been critical to the company’s sustained commercial success. By paying extra expenditures to ensure the manufacturing process fulfills defined quality standards, the firm can impress customers and develop a brand reputation in its many areas of operation.

Apple employs both technological and creative minds across many of its operations. Apple’s rules of conduct for its suppliers include standards aimed at encouraging innovation inside businesses (Podolny & Hansen, 2020). The method allows for enhanced productivity and efficiency. The company provides training at all stages, not the most crucial ones. It enhances the overall performance and quality of their personnel. Proper personnel training makes the company well-known for its quality products, retail marketing, online sales, and human resource management. The strict recruiting and application practice attracts people with great potential to become long-term resources.

An additional aspect of operational management is caring for employees properly to keep them from distracting the company’s productivity. On the other hand, Apple Inc has been criticized several times for ignoring workers’ worries about excessive workloads. Apple, Inc. has always favored employees who work for excessive hours without complaining. These excessive work hours can disrupt employees’ personal lives leading to psychological support. The profession is demanding, and employees must show constant creativity and dedication.

In his first year as CEO, Steve Jobs fired all of the company divisions’ general managers because traditional management had hampered creativity (Podolny & Hansen, 2020). He unified the company’s profit and loss and merged its functional divisions across the business. Under Tim Cook’s leadership, the corporation’s current CEO has been steadily altering its HR policies to reflect a more friendly environment for optimal employee morale. Apple Inc. has perfected its work environment and human resource tactics to guarantee its continuous endorsement as a dominant player. Apple Inc. incorporates a holistic approach to ensuring efficiency in human resource management.

Various technology approaches, such as the serialized system, are used by Apple Inc. for inventory control, allowing for more precise monitoring and control of items. The corporation employs the FIFO system, assuring that most older product models are sold before Apple’s newest product lines are introduced (Moreau, 2017). Managers at Apple retail outlets are responsible for stock control. Apple Inc. has specialized maintenance teams to take care of any problems that may arise. The corporation, for instance, divides its maintenance staff into separate groups to care for its numerous departmental needs. Apple’s information technology staff provides server and other related asset maintenance.

The company has continued unveiling new user-friendly products to other developers. Apple has often introduced new technologies and tools for app developers to use in making their applications more exciting and user-friendly (Xcode – Apple developer, 2018). App development is a multi-step process that requires a wide variety of tools and resources; Xcode Cloud simplifies this process by centralizing them in a single, cloud-based location. Xcode Cloud, a new feature introduced in Xcode 13, enables designers and teams of any size to create, validate, and release high-quality applications rapidly. It enables designers to work more efficiently and create better consumer applications.

Apple Inc. has continued succeeding in the global market due to its efficient technological and operational standards. It has automated its operations with suppliers, thus improving the efficiency of its operations. It makes reliable suppliers who adhere to the company’s supplier’s conduct to help facilitate the operations. The company has well-trained employees who can meet the company’s standards to produce high-quality goods. Steve Jobs and Tim Cook streamlined the operations at the company to enhance profitability. Apple Inc. uses technological systems such as the FIFO to manage its operations efficiently. It launched the Xcode Cloud to assist developers in efficiently designing applications.
