Team Training

Team training is a type of training conducted to increase a business’s performance and productivity. It is mainly used for employees who work as a group at an organization. Team training is beneficial for organizations since those who have to work together as a team in organizations could be able to better understand each other’s thinking and affections. Soft skills training refers to one form of business training that focuses on the behavioral aspects of the job, especially concerning communication, problem-solving, and other actions unrelated to technical knowledge or challenging skills. Soft skills training intends to develop specific traits such as good communication and people skills so they can deal with people skillfully to achieve outstanding performance (Ji-Young & Huang, 2021). For example, soft skills training is coordinated by a professional who helps teams to understand how to manage conflicts effectively, how to deal with stress and pressure, how to plan, organize and prioritize the work.

Quality Training

Quality training refers to business training focusing on an employee’s ability to produce quality products or services. Quality training is conducted for employees who work at the organization. Moreover, quality training is beneficial for organizations, as it can increase the productivity and competitiveness of the organization (Stone et al., 2020). For example, quality training helps employees in organizations to learn how to work as a team by giving specific tasks and goals, as well as how to communicate with each other. Employees can learn and develop the skills required for future projects by working together, resulting in better employee teamwork.

Safety Training

Safety training refers to one form of business training that focuses on acquiring basic knowledge to support an employee’s ability to maintain safe work practices at an organization. Furthermore, safety training is beneficial for organizations because it provides employees with basic information, knowledge, and skills that enable them to understand and carry out a number of health and safety procedures (Stone et al., 2020). For example, restaurants typically require their waiters to undergo safety training to learn how to properly use their equipment like thermometers, stoves, dishwashers and the like. Safety training is ushered for various industries and jobs, such as truck driving; construction; welding; manufacturing; operation of heavy machinery (Stone et al., 2020). Safety training helps workers understand how to deal with dangerous situations and risks and how to prevent accidents coordinates safety training. Therefore, safety training is beneficial for organizations, as it can prevent accidents or injuries that can result in loss of productivity and profitability at the organization.

Training Programs for Jobs

The necessary training programs for Mining Workers include:

  1. Accident prevention and first aid
  2. Marking and gearing
  3. Manual hand drill
  4. Pit top inspection
  5. Waste rock and tailings management
  6. Rescue planning and procedure guidance

These training programs are necessary to make mining workers feel safe. For instance, accident prevention programs will help in preventing accidents leading to no fatal accident in a year. First aid training makes it easy to respond to emergencies the marking training programs will help in identifying markings on all underground metal working machinery, equipment, and tools. According to Slutsky et al. (2019), gearing training programs will help inspect all underground metalworking machinery, equipment, and tools to ensure they are in safe working order before being used. In addition, pit inspection helps in hazard identification and risk assessment by mine management using established risk control measures during an onsite inspection.

Receptionist

The necessary training programs for receptionists for factory managers include:

  1. Follow-up training includes job-specific training that should take place after the completion of on-the-job training to reinforce, build upon, or apply new skills.
  2. Industry-specific education and training programs (for example, computer literacy and personal financial literacy).
  3. Customer service training in order to provide better support to customers or clients
  4. Training in communication skills to improve cooperation with other departments of the organization or with outside organizations and vendors; standardize language; establish a consistent message within the organization; set standards (for instance, dress code, courtesy); and provide clear directions.

These training programs are necessary because they ensure that the receptionist understands their responsibilities, duties, and job functions. For example, the receptionist keeps the customers and potential clients’ information. The receptionist writes and enters customer information. The receptionist covers calls, schedules appointments, and remembers names and account numbers (Slutsky et al., 2019). Notably, the receptionist sends messages to other departments or outside organizations to inform them about a new employee’s training or needs for training.

Factory Manager

Necessary training programs for factory manager include:

  1. Job Description Training
  2. Quality Assurance Training
  3. Safety Training
  4. Material Planning, Tracking, and Control training
  5. Production Scheduling and Planning training

The above training programs are necessary because job description training will be given to factory managers to ensure they know what they are supposed to do and what other supervisors are supposed to do. Importantly, a factory manager is responsible for the whole production line and the quality of products (Mathis et al., 2016). Having a good idea of how products are supposed to be made can help factory managers make better products that fulfill their quality requirements.

Product Development Team

The necessary training programs for the product development team include:

  1. Information literacy skills
  2. Technical training in product development use of computers and design tools related to product development
  3. Conceptual understanding of processes and systems
  4. Interpretation of data from various sources
  5. Faculty Development Program

The above training programs are necessary because the team needs to take their new knowledge, skills, and abilities sets and apply it in the development process. According to Karim et al. (2019), the use of data to make informed decisions is an excellent way to set such goals. Consequently, conceptually understand how a product is developed from idea to finished product (Mathis et al., 2016). It is due to the ability to integrate data and information from various sources to make informed decisions on product development.

Restaurant Server

The necessary training programs for restaurant servers include:

  1. Proper training of Employees
  2. Servicing the customers
  3. Proper handling of Food and Beverage
  4. Proper handling of cash matters
  5. Proper dealing with the Management

The above training programs are necessary for restaurant servers because most people enter this job. Karim et al. illustrated that these training programs are necessary because many people are coming to the restaurants that the servers need to deal with them perfectly. Therefore, by having proper manners and showing a well-trained performance.
