Modern forensic science offers many tools for more effective work in the investigation and prevention of crimes. The focus of the course is the most relevant for me, as it allows me to consider in more detail forensic drug chemistry. The most interesting part of the course is the study of various techniques for the analysis of substances and their impact on forensic research. It is also important that I was able to acquire the skills to analyze the received data and draw relevant conclusions based on the analysis of substances.
For my career ambitions, this course was the most useful, as I aspire to a holistic study of forensic science. In particular, I am interested not only in the mechanisms of law enforcement in relation to drug abuse cases but also in understanding the mechanisms for committing these crimes. I want to pay special attention to the development of the most effective methods for preventing crimes related to illegal substances. In my opinion, forensic drug analysis, in this case, offers valuable data, especially in the form of statistics, for making conclusions about the behavior patterns of criminals.
These aspects make the course valuable to me in relation to my future development within the community and the country as a whole. I believe that the basis of forensic science is just the same scrupulous analysis of facts, in particular with the help of the exact sciences. As part of my work, I will be able to apply an evidence-based approach to detect and prevent crimes. I am sure this approach will benefit the community and the country by making society safer from a long-term perspective.
