The most fundamental aspect of living with each other is oneness, even with varying discrepancies, including but not limited to religion, genetic makeup, socio-cultural backgrounds, beliefs, and hobbies among people. In this unbounded, infinite, and ever-changing world, humanity’s most foundational principle is to aim for freedom of the will, based on factual knowledge of the world and of oneself. Relativism and the dialogical oneness of the polarities are blind to nature’s impartiality and as a part of nature itself (Gewirth, 2020). This essence is a procured capacity that enables man to efficaciously rewrite the rules of his physiological, intellectual, and social life. Being grounded on a good understanding of himself and the world as a friendly entity. To lessen gradually but never totally eradicate the cognitive dissonance between qualitative man and impartial nature, between humanity and the world.
Despite calling for oneness, many people still cling to discriminating against others by their looks or, in this particular scenario, their sexual orientation. They choose to dwell on the physical other than looking past that and weigh those they deem different by their thoughts and values. Through sheer activism and the need to strive through, the age where the LGBTQ community gets heard has dawned on them. Activists all over the globe have spread awareness to everyone surrounding them that being gay is not in violation of any human right, but just a varying preference among people. Insisting more on them being human-like every other person.
Despite the lady condemning the gay fathers for raising their daughter without a mom, the people around were not in support of her accusations. Not all even approved of same-sex marriage and adoption, but they still called out on the lady who was condemning by telling her what she was doing was wrong. It shows that people have moved past the previously supported notions that being gay is wrong and choose to view them as human beings. Seeing past the discriminative shade thrown at those who seemed different and embracing their values over their physical orientation.
The belief that everybody has a distinctive worth depending only on their existence at its most fundamental level is human dignity. It has nothing associated with socioeconomic standing, ethnicity, sexuality, creed, or talent, but everything to do with being human. In Latin, English, and French, the words for dignity did not traditionally allude to a person’s fundamental value. It was much more commensurate with someone’s abilities. A respectable individual possessed a sense of superiority. They affiliated with a dynasty or a particular church, or at the very least, they were wealthy.
Many cases in both United States and Europe are linked to racial profiling. It is majorly enacted by those members of government who act in an organized way to enforce the law. Instead of basing stereotypes on real behavior or evidence about suspected conduct by someone who fits the specific person’s profile, they rely on stereotypes based on race, color, or culture.
People in this age and time prefer to uphold dignity for human life over discrimination. The security guard being harshly contradicted by people who stood up against his prejudicial instigation clearly shows that people care for others. Standing firm with human dignity purports significant progress throughout the globe. The values and thoughts people share are what matter most. Human beings are beautiful creatures, and until the view is the same for everyone, only then will the world be a safer place.
