Analysis of Information Systems in Apple, Inc

The unification of information resources within Apple inevitably leads to the formation of an information space, the basis of which are corporate or territorial information systems. An information system is a complex of computing and communication equipment, software, linguistic tools, and information resources, which ensures their collection and storage. Actualization, distribution, and processing can also be utilized to support any type of activity. An automated information system can function independently or be part of a more complex system, for example, a decision support system and various management systems.

Consequently, information systems (IS) for management in Apple form a number of groups according to the lines of activity and tasks to be solved. The latter includes activities such as documentary, cooperative, distributed, geo-information, leadership, and management. In addition, Apple actively uses a database of documents, workflow, distribution, and data storage management systems. These IP groups and any other systems work with electronic resources or electronic documents and include a methodology for using electronic documents (Pearlson et al., 2015). In addition, this consists of the organization of electronic paperwork and workflow, technology for working with corporate electronic resources, and the procedure for working with Internet information resources.

Today, the competitiveness of any industry is proportional to its integrated automation based on information technology. Computer and computer networks are increasingly used to automate production processes. They can become an essential part of future networks, a basis for developments that will become more important in the near future. The rapid growth in the complexity and size of complexes and programs, while increasing the responsibility of the functions performed, has sharply increased the requirements for their quality and reliability.

The global economy today requires constant changes in organizational technology, the development, and implementthe ation of innovations. In the future, Apple will still need approaches that specialize in creating key technology deployments. Currently, cloud technologies and cloud computing systems are becoming more widespread. iCloud needs to be given special attention in the field of personnel management. Cloud space is located around each person, and hence the employee. Currently, there are already examples of the effective use of cloud systems. iCloud, as a company portal, can also be used to manage human capital. An example of cloud-based human capital management systems in the personnel market is Internet resources in the field of personnel search and selection.

With the help of cloud technologies, the organization can optimize the functions of attracting, retaining, and developing personnel and, thus, more effectively implement the personnel management policy. Cloud technologies can provide new opportunities for the use of remote and seasonal workers in the organization’s activities. Expanding the staff, the head of the organization has the ability to connect the necessary workers to the cloud service and, conversely, disconnect unused, inactive workers from the service. Using cloud technologies eliminates the problems of accuracy and efficiency of information received by employees in the course of fulfilling their duties (Rittinghouse & Ransome, 2016). The right choice of cloud technologies and software adapts the functions performed to legal standards, which are periodically adjusted and improved.

The cloud system offers personnel management, such implementation models, as a personal cloud, that is, the information field of an individual employee and the possibility of information access to the employee field. The company can use iCloud as a corporate cloud, that is, the information base, field, and internal network of the organization. In addition, Apple can integrate a hybrid cloud deployed within the organization and includes the integration of personal and corporate clouds, and allowing the generation of information flows.
