XYZ Company’s leaders and executives should focus on developing goals that are visible and clear. This can be achieved by evaluating various aspects to avoid ambiguity in the set objectives. Remarkably, leadership in the company can be improved when SMART goals are implemented. Moreover, complete visibility is realized when all workers are aware of the company’s goals (Campos et al., 2020). However, each individuals should understand their role in facilitating and enhancing success of all goals. Operations such as performance tracking and effectiveness of goals should be visible to every person. Leadership effectiveness entails having shared objectives to lead collective performance (Campos et al., 2020). Therefore, developing visible and clear goals can help to improve the company’s leadership.

Ways to Improve the Company’s Leadership

Notably, improving XYZ Company’s leadership requires all individuals to practice responsibility and accountability in their daily activities. If leaders and other staff members are encouraged to be responsible and accountable, they can enhance effectiveness of their tasks (Campos et al., 2020). This aspect involves persuading the company’s workers to take interest in gaining and applying advanced leadership skills and knowledge. In addition, leadership accountability and responsibility can be realized by identifying and picking up competencies such as empathy and emotional intelligence (Campos et al., 2020). This may involve encouraging managers and leaders to improve themselves and set an example for their followers. A positive trend can be started by facilitating accountability and responsibility in the XYZ Company resulting in improved leadership.

Leadership improvement to a significant extent is likely to depend on the feedback given and acquired from employees. A culture that supports acquisition of feedback can be implemented in XYZ Company to achieve success of its leadership. This involved leaders being open in advancing their skills based on the given responses. For instance, the culture of feedback can enable leaders to identify their weakness or leadership gaps and focus on addressing them (Campos et al., 2020). Moreover, feedback should be provided to all employees concerning their performance and support them to grow or improve. This will help to enhance leadership in the company to a greater effectiveness. Furthermore, leaders should be encouraged to be open to their followers’ feedback and apply it to understand the existing leadership issues (Campos et al., 2020). They can then focus on eliminating the concerns to accelerate their success as a leader. Outstandingly, better leadership outcomes can be achieved if XYZ Company supports a culture of feedback.

XYZ Company’s leaders should be transparent and trustworthy for them to be able to grow and influence their followers towards organizational success. Employees who trust their leaders can respect and follow them and offer their support 100 percent (Campos et al., 2020). This can enhance the company’s leadership effectiveness efforts resulting in positive workers’ performance. Transparency and trust can be achieved by persuading and encouraging managers to connect with all their followers beyond work (Campos et al., 2020). However, this requires applying empathy and emotional intelligence when handling the employees. Consequently, using transparent approaches to accomplish various leadership tasks can facilitate success of the XYZ leaders. All individuals in the company should be treated fairly for realization of employees’ trust to their managers. If transparency is achieved, it would be easy to influence employees towards improved performance and company’s success.

Leadership can be enhanced if leaders value and respect different opinions from workers associated with diverse backgrounds. Notably, effective leadership entails accepting and considering cultural differences and seeing value in workplace diversity (Campos et al., 2020). A culture that increases inclusion in the XYZ Company should be established to achieve leadership effectiveness. Remarkably, leaders should identify ad utilize their followers’ capabilities and strengths to address the existing leadership issues. For instance, an idea acquired through employees’ feedback on how to evaluate performance can be implemented to facilitate success of the leaders. Innovation and success are aspect that can be realized in a company that promotes diversity and respects employees’ differences (Campos et al., 2020). Therefore, XYZ Company should focus on incentives that increase inclusion of all team members regardless of their backgrounds. This will result in reduced conflicts and positive leadership outcomes.

Innovative Ideas to Strengthen Company’s Leadership

Employees and leaders at XYZ Company can show improved performance if their collaboration and efforts are rewarded or recognized. Ways and programs can be established to acknowledge effective leadership and hard work. For instance, each individual’s win can be awarded or shared in a write-up (Nolan, 2020). This will motivate them to improve their leadership skills by working well with their followers. An employee app for recognition can be implemented to monitor workers performance and help recognize their success. In addition, direct tools such as meetings can be used to improve recognition, increase leaders’ collaboration, and enhance engagement. In this case, the company’s leadership will be strengthened because all individuals are valued and rewarded for successful completion of their tasks.

A multi-way communication ensures that leaders and employees can communicate easily by facilitating open sharing of ideas. This approach can strengthen XYZ Company’s leadership because it allows all individuals to voice their concerns without being intimidated or getting shot down. Therefore, leaders can consider the provided feedback to upskill, resulting in improved leadership outcomes. The company can implement tools that engage workers and the management in two way conversations. For instance, an app that offers personalized feeds can enable leaders and their followers to engage with and access live news and announcements concerning the company’s leadership (Nolan, 2020). This will facilitate timely and multi-way information sharing, which can strengthen the leaders’ performance.

Leadership at XYZ Company can be strengthened by establishing and increasing rotation of positions for a certain period. For instance, leaders and their followers can be allowed to rotate positions every 6 months. This can be done across the company’s units or to other companies that may be included in its distributor network. Remarkably, rotations will enhance leadership because leaders and employees acquire the opportunity to interact and share ideas with experts and other individuals relevant to the business (Suleman et al., 2022). In addition, they are exposed to various resources and environments that strengthen their leadership abilities. XYZ Company can also find similar organizations and rotate their employees into them to gain new insights. This will help them serve their company better using the acquired advanced leadership skills.

XYZ Company should give experiential learning opportunities to all leaders and their followers that can facilitate growth of their leadership skills. Remarkably, this can help improve skills such as problem-solving and communication, which are needed to strengthen employees’ leadership capabilities (Kong, 2021). People who are high contributors may not be leaders and poor contributors may make effective leaders if exposed to experiential learning opportunities. This may involve engaging all individuals into creative activities such as interesting projects that can make them excited. However, reverse mentoring approaches can be developed to support younger workers by enhancing their leadership experience and skills.

XYZ Company can consider corporate communications approach to ensure effective planning of information sharing externally and internally. Leadership can be strengthened using this method because communication with workers and their managers is streamlined (Nolan, 2020). For instance, leaders in marketing unit are allowed to access all information across the company. This ensures that there is no disconnection between teams and the established company goals. Leaders are expected to create the bigger picture to be able to establish priorities. Corporate communications strategy can enable information sharing at all company levels and enhance understanding of the assigned leadership roles (Nolan, 2020). Therefore, it strengthens the ability of leaders to accomplish their tasks resulting in improved outcomes.
