We are all called to a life of endurance with christ accompanied by joyful thanksgiving. However, only those who do what Christ commands will have the opportunity to enjoy it. As a Christian, strategic planning is a critical aspect of the journey of faith. The choices today impact the life tomorrow because the reward of God may take months or years. To be a thriving Christian demands more than just believing in Christ. Everyone hoping to succeed in the Christian journey must be strong in the Lord and have enough courage to face challenges (Tanner, 2019). One must also read the Bible to understand God’s will and plan to strengthen determination.
Starting a journey with christ is a challenging task for many people; individuals have lost hope on the way due to poor strategies. There are various plans that Christians should implement to become successful tomorrow in Christ (Tanner, 2019). One must learn to spend Unhurried Time with God and enjoy the presence of the Lord. One must learn to practice gratitude and giving thanks to the Lord. “O give thanks unto the Lord, for he is good: For his mercy endures for ever.” (King James Version, 2019, Psalms 107:1). One must also learn the importance of rest as it relieves the brain from overthinking, allowing for a renewal of spiritual strength. Learning to serve man and loving neighbours also builds a competitive advantage for God’s tool. Jesus teaches that we should love our neighbours as we love ourselves, as this is the second after loving the Lord (King James Version, 2019, Mark 12:31). The last strategy is keeping track of daily appointments and to-do lists, and allocating time to rest, sleep, and eat. Organizing and Managing life activities helps to prioritize time with God and others around us.
