The Principles of the Code of Ethics for a Company

Code of Ethics

Our business’s success depends on the confidence of our customers, partners, and employees in our credibility. Credibility in our case can be ensured by satisfying customer needs, treating all people with respect, and benefiting the community. We can achieve these goals only with our workers who strive to perform their work at the highest level. This Code of Ethics is a set of rules for our employees that will guide them in ensuring the company’s reputation as a reliable organization. Consequently, all employees of the company must comply with the following principles of the Code of Ethics.

Inclusiveness

Employees should respect all diversity of customers, employees, partners, and suppliers. Diversity means the range of human variation, including age race, age, origin, gender, religion, sexual orientation, and disabilities (Schmidt et al., 2017).

Respectful Communication

Employees should apply a careful choice of words in interaction, as well as the absence of incorrect and offensive expressions, hidden hints, rude comments, and intonations.

Privacy of Data

Employees should collect only the essential information and do not interfere with the privacy of clients or colleagues.

Confidentiality

Employees should ensure the proper storage of information of the company, its partners, and customers and its non-distribution to third parties.

Honest and Trustworthiness

Employees should admit their own mistakes and shortcomings to correct them, as well as provide full information to customers about the flaws or limitations of the company’s products.

Maintenance to Standards

Employees should support and keep the standards for performing any tasks and manufacturing products.

Collaboration

Employees should participate in equal and effective interaction with colleagues, including asking for criticism and advice and their acceptance, as well as offering an employee’s recommendation or assistance on request.

Professionalism

Employees should perform work at a high professional level, regardless of the task.

Commitment to the Public Good

Employees should put the interests of society first and report situations that can harm society. This principle is a manifestation of corporate social responsibility since it ignoring can ruin the reputation of the company and lead to the loss of customers (“Why corporate social responsibility,” 2020). Thus, it must be key in the company’s activities.

Loyalty to the Company and Its Rules

Employees should fulfill all points of the Code of Ethics and the company’s internal policy, as well as report violations that can harm their work or reputation.
