Minimal errors have been witnessed for poor quality drinks, with teamwork ensuring that the products released from the various factories meet the required standards (Vanita, 2020). The financial management processes have also benefitted from teamwork, with profits increasing exponentially, and demonstrating the benefits of efficiency reaped from teamwork. The financial managers within different departments of the company, including production, distribution, and sales work in coordination to ensure that deficiencies are not witnessed in the fiscal statements.

Teamwork guarantees higher morale within an organization as the spirit of togetherness motivates the employees. The workers are motivated to report in their different working stations daily within the required time. This morale ensures that the levels of job satisfaction are high and employees are committed to their various positions. Sense of Accomplishment

Group work ordinarily breeds more success than personal efforts due to the diversity that provides variety. Whatever one employee lacks sufficient proficiency in is an area of adequate expertise for another. Teamwork maximizes the strengths of team members while covering the weaknesses apparent in other workers. This ensures that massive success is achieved and this causes celebration and accomplishments for the team members (Phakathi, 2017). The success achieved causes the realization of personal purpose and reinvigorated ambition which are catalysts for more success. The achievement of certain goals breeds passion and further success, resulting in a cycle of successive accomplishments.

Employees must attain the feeling of victory within the workplace for continued dedication, passion, and commitment. Teamwork guarantees these through the achievement of collective goals that increase togetherness and enhanced desire for achievements (Phakathi, 2017). Coca-Cola’s success can be attributed to the increased sense of collective success within their various outlets. Each outlet regularly sets targets to be achieved within a specific timeline. Whenever these targets are achieved, that branch of the company is in a celebratory mood and the next targets are set with a feeling of positivity within the organization (Vanita, 2020). This cycle ensures that small wins inform greater success and act as motivational factors for the organization’s success. The contribution of each team member is usually highlighted in the grand scheme of organizational success. This guarantees that the individual purpose of each employee, which is an important component of company success, is maintained. The role of the manager in supervising the roles of employees is minimized in a system that adopts teamwork. The employee understands their individual roles and the continuation of the next step in a matrix is dependent on efficient previous actions. This means that teamwork establishes a system that introduces unintentional but effective checks for every step of the operation. The workers also become self-regulating with team members requiring their colleagues to perform better. The responsibility of employees is to a purpose higher than individual success. Associations between colleagues develop critical workplace values such as communication, stress, motivation, and cooperation. Mutual trust is developed amongst employees who cultivate strong relationships amongst each other, hence higher efficiency. Understanding of various requests and needs of the employees is enhanced by the efficient communication of desires by the management. Support for the needs of various employees is also maximized by the adoption of teamwork as welfare groups are a profound feature of such arrangements.

These groups cater to the needs of their members that surpass their workplace requirements. These needs include supporting them whenever they have a personal crisis such as a loss or pressing need that requires aid (Tripathy, 2018). This is vital in the establishment of a wholesome workforce that commits their energy to company success with minimal additional worries weighing them down. This is also crucial for the maintenance of mental health and minimal burden for the employees that are often a source of organizational failure. Coca-Cola’s welfare group is an effective illustration of stronger working relationships in bettering the lives of workers and boosting company productivity. The welfare group was a result of preexisting teamwork that motivated the employees to create an agency that meets their needs outside the workplace (Vanita, 2020). The common feature of all the members of the welfare group is their association with the Coca-Cola Company. This has been instrumental in ensuring sufficient concentration in achieving goals at the company due to an understanding that transcends the Coca-Cola premises.

Healthy Competition

Competition is a crucial feature of any workplace and ensures the overall success of companies. The use of teamwork in the workplace to create competition is effective, making organizational objectives resemble individual goals. This occurs through the creation of multiple teams within the same departments and tasking them with the same goals. The management, in these scenarios, provides awards for the best performing groups, compelling various teams to make sufficient efforts towards being better than others (Hwang, 2018). The competition was facilitated through the organization of their employees into teams that were geared towards achieving specific shared responsibilities hence profitability. Whenever a certain goal was achieved, the management would award the victorious team to spur action from the other teams. In the following period, another team would achieve the assigned duties first and this ensured that the company utilized the minimal time to realize success. This competition is devoid of malice and informed by ambition to become better than colleagues hence overall company expansion.

The concept of teamwork has diminished emphasis on individual effort in most modern firms with sufficient evidence supporting this model as an effective tool. Collaboration also increases team morale that is borne from the need to attain shared success by the groups. Group work is vital in ensuring individual employee enlightenment due to the endless opportunities presented to learn from one another.
