A baroque suite is a musical genre or form primarily founded and developed during the Renaissance and Baroque periods. It primarily features instrumental music used for parties and dances. The structure consists of several movements performed in the same key and is separated into different pieces. The music was primarily performed during big gatherings or parties as an accompaniment to dances or other forms of entertainment. The genre has gained widespread use and popularity in many countries, earning it a status of an international genre. One of the primary reasons this kind of music was popular was the universal desire of people to gather in large groups for public events.
