Although the introduction of robots leads to an increase in the automation of processes and a decrease in human labor, this transformation will result in the emergence of new jobs, creating an opportunity for balance. A robot, particularly one that a workstation can program, is considered a machine that can perform a sophisticated sequence of moves automatically. A peripheral control system can direct a robot, or the regulation can be formed inside the framework. Even though some machines are designed to resemble humans, most are task-oriented computers focusing on stark operability rather than evocative visual appeal. Firstly, regarding the paper, the question of robots replacing humans in the working process will be discussed. Secondly, the results of the research dedicated to the impact of robots on employment will be analyzed. Finally, the objective consequences of applying robots and machines in business will be emphasized.
Since the topic possesses various opinions, it is essential to discuss all possible frameworks. One of the common considerations is that the robotization of work processes will lead to undoubted problems in working human capital. Confirmation of this statement is a simple phenomenon called automation, which means the transition from human to automatic (machine) in certain areas. This is due to the concept that if a computer or a robot replaces specific job positions, then the official (person) is deprived of his powers as unnecessary. In addition, due to rapid technological development, robotics and its products can duplicate a large number of tasks that are performed by humans but with less time.
Considering the information from the previous paragraph, it is possible to compare it to the opposite opinion. There are scientific studies that have studied in detail the issue of the role of the robot and the computer in the modern world of labor. According to the researchers, robots have no harmful impact on total employment (Dottori, 2021). Furthermore, when restricted to manufacturing output, the approximate influence is negative, but its statistical evidence is insufficient or absent once simultaneous commerce and Information and Communication Technologies developments are taken into account (Dottori, 2021). Consequently, it can be stated that there is no scientific evidence, which can prove the presence of the problem of robots reducing human employment.
However, not only the research results can be emphasized to prove the presence of positive effects of robots on employment. Robots, replacing other tools and acting with increased efficiency, improve productivity and can positively influence the expansion of business areas, establishing new markets, which will entail the creation of new jobs (Dottori, 2021). Moreover, despite replacing humans with robots in specific fields, the increase in automation and the volume of robotic technology leads to the need to improve server maintenance, development, assembly, and programming (Dottori, 2021). To create and maintain robotic technology in working service, a powerful material, technical, and resource base is required, consisting of people. Therefore, despite the replacement of people by robots, an increase in the number of robots provokes the development of markets and improved maintenance, which leads to the creation of human jobs.
To summarize, the robotization of work processes and automation reduces employment since specific human positions become unnecessary. What concerns the researchers, is can be stated that there is no scientific evidence that can prove the presence of the problem of robots reducing human employment. A strong material, technical, and resource base, comprised of people, is required to develop and maintain robotic technology in service. As a result, even though robots are replacing people, an increase in the number of robots leads to the development of markets and improved servicing, causing the formation of human jobs.
