Workers’ and Managers’ Rights and Responsibilities

A qualified HR manager takes care of employees from different departments, regardless of their status, salary, and education. Every employee needs protection and guarantees in case of unforeseen circumstances. The work should harmoniously fit into employees’ hobbies and personal lives. The HR manager develops an initial plan to support employees and prevent turnover. This memorandum was written to explain workers’ rights and responsibilities, as well as to clearly describe the future actions of the HR manager and assistants.

The company must pay The National Living Wage to employees over 23, but internship pay is calculated following the National Minimum Wage. A small salary during the internship period is compensated by sensitive supervision and the loyalty of colleagues and bosses. The company welcomes volunteer work during the opening period or special events, and the money received for the work of the volunteers will go to charity. The minimum wage does not include payment for protective equipment or uniforms; tips are not included (West, 2021). If an employee needs an internship or a business trip to another country, the company pays extra for this.

Every official employee is entitled to 52 weeks of maternity leave. In the case of the birth of twins, the number of weeks for vacation does not change. It is necessary to warn HR managers as early as possible about such plans To share parental leave with a partner. It is also advisable to warn about pregnancy or plans to become pregnant soon. HR managers will not dissuade employees from creating a family and will not put work above personal life since this is a private matter (ACAS, n.d.). However, early warning will allow managers to select another employee for the position and discuss new responsibilities with him. Employees are eligible to claim maternity pay, and the amount will depend on the job and pay in standard times.

This new HR policy operates within the Equality Act 2010, which is committed to protecting employees from discrimination based on race, sexual orientation, maternity, and others. The company space is not only free from discrimination for workers of any qualification but also for visitors (Equality and Human Rights Commission, n.d.). It is a safe place where people will be free from victim-blaming, shaming, and other forms of discrimination. Hate speech is unacceptable and will be severely punished in conflicts. The company’s inclusivity extends to companies that want to work with London ClubHouse, regardless of what country their employees are from, what race, gender, or sexual orientation of their director.

Bosses can only fire an employee for a valid reason that does not affect their orientation, race, or gender. It is also unacceptable to dismiss employees who need parental leave. The employee will be warned by the HR manager or boss about the imminent dismissal (Government Digital Service, 2020). Managers will make it clear to employees that they have thoroughly understood the reasons for the dismissal and made logical conclusions. Before the dismissal, which the employee can count on, it is about four weeks. During this time, the employee will be able to start looking for a new job. If the employee needs a recommendation for the next appointment, and the dismissal occurs by agreement of the parties or a non-strict violation, the company will provide a recommendation.
