They also emphasize the importance of practicing open interactions in enhancing a supportive work environment.

Some key points I found meaningful were the tips for effective conversations with employees. For example, the authors suggest that supervisors avoid jargon and use clear and concise language instead. Additionally, Newnam & Goode (2019) suggest that supervisors should be aware of their communication style and adjust it to meet the needs of their employees. They also recommend that supervisors ask open-ended questions and avoid assumptions about what employees know or do not know. Another critical point is that supervisors should try to get to know their employees and encourage them to come to them with any concerns or problems. This creates positive relations and motivates workers to work without being pushed increasing productivity. In conclusion, I found this article to be very helpful in understanding the importance of effective communication in the workplace. It offers a wealth of practical advice managers can use to promote communication in work environments. Supervisors need to be able to communicate effectively with their employees to create a positive work environment. Adequate communication motivates workers and promotes more productivity within an institution.
