Demographics in organizations refers to the workforce’s characteristics, such as age, gender, race, and level of education. These qualities provide vital insights into the organization’s makeup and help inform decisions about hiring, diversity, and inclusion, as well as other areas of human resources (Razak et al., 2020). For instance, a firm with a predominantly older workforce might consider implementing programs to attract and retain younger employees.
On the other hand, an organization with a diverse workforce might focus on promoting inclusivity and fostering a work culture for all employees (Razak et al., 2020). In this regard, the paper explores the current demographics of The Apple Company, a recent change in the organization and how it was handled, types of technology used in the organization, and how it affects the firm.

Demographics in the Apple Company are used to determine the characteristics of the employees. Apple is a male-dominated company, with 62% of its employees male and 38% female (Tien, 2019). The most common race at the company is white, accounting for 55.7% of all employees. Latino or Hispanic are estimated to be 19.2%, Black or African Americans account for 11.0%, and Asians 9.6% (Tien, 2019). The average age range of people working at the Apple Company is 2-3 years.
