Biblical Organization Elements

Introduction

Nowadays the problem of correctly identifying the rules and principles of well-managed organization becomes prevalent in the capitalistic system of the working environment. Indeed, structuring the people in the working crew or membership becomes highly significant when it comes to regulating and filtering any unwanted relationship in the group. As for the religious studies, the Christian faith has always helped people all over the world find peace and meaningfulness in mindful leadership and compassionate organization. Hence, the moral values that are dogmatic in the Bible are essential to justify careful organizational planning and regulate any toxicity or damaging behavior that can be harmful towards the majority of people.

To begin with, my goal is to argue that the Bible is an essential resource of knowledge in any conversation about organization and leadership. Therefore, my aim is to make a research study that can shed the light on the importance of Biblical approach in organization planning.

Main Body

In the articles that have been of high importance for this paper, the scholars have argued about the essential roots of religion in regulating any social interactions whatsoever. This data has been proved multiple times in any society-related historical research on the development of human civilizations1. Hence, the Bible has been a very influential piece of writing that has never lost its relevance to this day which shows its dogmatic and educational benefits for different types of modern communities. However, this information cannot be applied in the field of sociology and multiple scientific approaches that deny any religious influence on the topic of leadership and management2. Nevertheless, various peer-approved and critically acclaimed studies provide actual evidence on the necessary use of religious texts in the process of analyzing ethical organization techniques. These methods are mentioned in this paper to achieve clear understanding of the Christian bias that lies underneath any contemporary well-adjusted horizontal organization.

First supporting idea

Considering main aspects of methodological development of researching the concept of organization, the theological scholars have distinguished multiple working strategies in gaining and increasing the amount of data on social modernization. First, participative observation has been called one of the main and well-established techniques in working with big social groups and finding the key to better understanding of the natural hierarchies3. Moreover, this method helps terminate unwanted or damaging vertical relationships in order to fulfill the community with gratification and empathy towards each other. This accomplishment can become realistic only when a researcher integrates into a group and has valuable personal experiences with being a part of a hierarchy. Second, modern researchers have to base their work primarily on the value that it has in the social groups and other communities that require any organizational initiatives4. Indeed, constant shift towards validity and interpersonal importance has improved the approach that is tightly related to Christian studies in the last decades5. The Biblical teachings are being renovated and interpreted again to keep in touch with the everchanging reality of people’s life in the twenty-first century.

Although scholars tend to refer to ancient religious texts to solve recent socio-cultural problems, it does not mean that this approach is outdated or irrelevant which can be proved by multiple innovative studies. Thus, human experiences, the rules of leadership, and organizational initiatives will always be of current interest just because of the sociological needs and desires of a human being. Hence, the Bible has rules and principles that describe the overall human relationships and social interactions, as well as the development vector that predicts modern issues in the digital era.

Second supporting idea

Considering all the information that has been said previously, it is essential to look into the structural analysis of the Christian approach to adjusting and regulating organizational relationships and different types of leaderships. First, the real and authentic Christian leadership is built not on the hierarchy and classist division of society but integration and empathy6. Actual leaders have to take ethical perspectives into consideration in order to achieve compassionate and equal relationships in any kind of company, community, or social group. Indeed, this approach is effectively and sufficiently described in the Bible when it comes to loving one’s neighbors with no anticipation of having something in return7. Enthusiastic and ethical society can be only made via those principles of empathy and compassion. Second, personality and abilities are also highly essential when it comes to organizing any group of people so that everyone gets according to their needs and gives according to their abilities. That way, the scholars see clear correlation between modern values of equality and open-mindedness to ancient religious manuscripts that approve of and support the same things. In addition, it is rather crucial to take into consideration constant improvement of the emotional intelligence skills for a leader that is willing to create modern friendly environment for people of any identity. This type of intelligence is deliberately connected with creating strong social relationships and supporting any human being in a time of crisis8. Therefore, the aforementioned principles are deeply rooted in the Biblical rules of behaving in any public space, especially for people in leading positions.

Third supporting idea

Most of the mentioned scholars have argued about the human nature that was brilliantly analyzed and explained in the Bible because its moral values always stay relevant and popular. However, in the work by Alemu9 (2016) I have not found any mentions of the correlation between religious dogmas and current person-centered organizational initiatives. Hence, I do not quite believe that mutual feeling of respect, compassion, and attentiveness do not come from the deep-rooted Christian values. In addition, the article by Geerlof et al. (2016)10 also does not reference any Biblical influence on the modern understanding of leadership and management of social communities which I find biased and quite inapplicable for this research study. Therefore, the articles and any sociological paper on the rules of organizational planning have to be written with regards to the religious texts and doctrines that explain the moral values of today.

Conclusion

In conclusion, this paper has proven the visible correlation between the Bible and core moral and ethical principles of mastering organization. Moreover, supportive and ethical leadership can be achieved by following the Christian doctrines as well. Hence, this study can be used as an example of the phenomenon that is connected with the significance of Biblical norms in the modern society. That way, the healthy way of social interactions can be built with no damaging hierarchies or unfair social division.
