Cultural Artefact: Solidarity Against COVID-19

Cultural rights are how individuals “grow and express themselves, their worldviews, and their shared meaning for their existence and development.” The broad benefits of cultural discourse, as well as the language’s diversity, are equally essential. Cultural diversity creates a richer and more diverse world, enhances diversity and develops human skills and values, and is essential for sustainable development and full realization of human rights, according to the Convention on the Protection and Promotion of the Diversity of Cultural Expressions (One, 2020). Therefore, this paper aims at critically assessing how artists collaborate and influence each other’s work by using various artefacts.

Culture is the expression of people who seek to express and comprehend what is inside them and what their life means. There is the intended use of religious tradition and the cultural discourse that is the product of religious conviction. Art is often commissioned by religious institutions and is seen as a manifestation of religious worship, such as intricate geometric designs on Iranian churches and glass windows in Gothic churches, which are responsible for developing unique professional knowledge and becoming historical structures (One, 2020). In the same way religion impacts culture, culture impacts religion and spirituality by enriching and disseminating religious knowledge and education.

When one comes upon a meaningful art form, one tends to feel a sense of connection or reassurance. Even if the piece of art is made of metal or oil, it still has the power to elicit a strong emotional response from the viewer. One do not always have words to describe how we feel, but we all recognize it when it happens. As someone who has spent much of my life studying and collecting art, I believe that I have developed a deep empathy for others. Artists commonly use a hidden brush to express profound statements. Alternatively, they may be aiming to show off their individuality and bravery through the use of daring sculptures. It doesn’t matter how you feel about a piece of art; when you connect with it, you connect with the artist’s personality. We become more human when we go through that experience. Every piece we select for Veronique Gallery is chosen to bring out the best in the natural personality of the artist. As a result, you’ll be able to engage with artists from around the world through our collection, regardless of language or cultural barriers.

In this way, one of art’s primary goals is to help us grow as individuals. Even a half-hour stroll through the gallery can help us remember what it means to be human. Perhaps our empathy is bolstered by the understanding that anyone can create wonderful work. The sorrow or joy we felt was felt by someone there, and he shared it with us in a way we could understand. A sense of security comes from knowing that others have been in your shoes (One, 2020). The well-being of a community is enhanced when people have a means of expressing themselves. Self-esteem can be organized into a topic through access to visual art and the opportunity to create your art. Art helps people connect, fosters empathy, and promotes good relationships between people and the rest of society.

Involvement in the creative process provides a wealth of opportunities for personal growth. This notion that the creative process can benefit others is at the heart of the field of the art of medicine. The medical professionals aid in numerous ways, including self-disclosure, assisting in tough situations, and even performing tests and making discoveries that might otherwise not be feasible (One, 2020). Art therapy can benefit patients in numerous ways, but one overarching idea is that it aids in the exploration of a patient’s life path and the gathering of data. In a world full of people, art therapy helps a person establish and comprehend their identity. Using art therapy, a person can reflect on the past, present, and future and enjoy the path of life to become the person they are today. Individual self-examination and revelation made possible by professional therapy promote loyalty to the therapist. Art therapy has helped me uncover who I am as a person, and now I am using art therapy to help others do the same.

It is possible to help the pupils prepare for the critical self-criticism of art through adherence rates, enduring comprehension, and key questions. The National Standards of Visual Arts in Response Art Processes: Understanding and evaluating how art transmits meaning; and Presentation: Interpreting and sharing artwork support the importance of including artistic interpretation into your curriculum. A program of art critique can allow your audience to be more receptive to different perspectives.

Creating art as part of a shared practice frequently necessitates artists and community members working together over an extended period. It takes advantage of the unique talents and information each participant possesses to help them articulate what’s most important in their lives. Collaborative arts enhance and diversify social and creative relationships, increasing their value to society by encouraging participation from a wide range of people. The author’s ideas and the artist’s work of a solitary artist are tested when practicing a shared art form with others. Outside the gallery or theater, collaborations with other groups are typically done. Prison, hospital, or university are all possible locations where this could occur. Additionally, it could fall under any category, such as a professional artist or architect and a dance artist, or an architectural expert and a filmmaker.
