Introduction
Traditionally, people believe that the exploration and study of space is exclusively the interest of adherents of rigorous sciences. Such people do not give a chance to others with a different mindset to approach this fascinating and vital topic. Space exploration has a tremendous impact on the lives of ordinary people, developing technologies, including household ones. Space exploration is an inspiration to create new artworks that will appeal to many people and will be adapted by artists, not astrophysicists. Exploring the cosmos through four lenses showed me that there should be no place for strife and division of territories in a progressive scientific community. Such a community should share its successes with as many specialists as possible and involve them in observing or participating in experiments. After all, space exploration is too big an idea that cannot belong to just one discipline.
Discussion
NASA has recorded the first clear evidence that there is a planet outside the solar system that has carbon dioxide. For a natural lens, this means a great discovery, which will lay the foundation for further research in the field of gas astrophysics (NASA’s Webb detects carbon dioxide in exoplanet atmosphere, 2022). Separately, the technological aspect should be noted here since only super-level equipment could detect the presence of carbon dioxide outside the solar system.
The lens of social science can show the economic aspect of this study since the mentioned super-level equipment could only be put into operation thanks to huge investments (Johnson, 2012). The historical lens forces researchers to think about politics, including retrospectively. Although scientific achievements are universal and belong to everyone, the most striking discoveries in space exploration were possible thanks to NASA and, in particular, the James Webb telescope (Hatzivassiliou, 2019). It gives the impression of a monopoly on space discoveries and forces us to draw parallels with the space race between the USSR and the USA.
Conclusion
For humanities, the lens is of great importance for such a considerable distance beyond the limits of the solar system. Artists will wonder how life could be so far away and how people could travel such long distances (Alalinarde, 2017). It would significantly impact the social world order, the relations between all people, the thinking of people, and their character. With the development of space research, new generations of people are born with new priorities, values , and views. Their world becomes unreasonably broad, following the discoveries of scientists.
