President Roosevelt’s Four Freedoms Speech Analysis

The study of the speeches of great people who have made an invaluable contribution to the development of the United States of America is of particular importance. Thus, this work will explore the speech of President Franklin D. Roosevelt and the impact that its main postulates had on the future of the country. The speech under study was delivered in 1941 as the State of the Union Address. Hence Roosevelt raised many problems since it was at this time that the Second World War began to become widespread. Despite the fact that the speech raised several problems, the central aspect that was more clearly reflected in the minds of people was the part about the freedoms of American residents.

Furthermore, before starting to discuss freedoms and their contribution to the development of the country, it is necessary to consider general information about speech. One of the aspects that were noted in it was mainly focused on the war and the state of America at the time of the spread of hostilities, and It is worth noting that at that time, the country was still in a state of distancing itself from some countries. However, the four freedoms of the President aroused particular interest. Thus, they became the freedom of speech, worship, the freedom from want and from fear.

It is worth noting that the primary goal of the four freedoms was to reflect the mood of the United States in relation to what was happening. Moreover, the President gave the People hope for a positive and speedy end to the war and improvement of living conditions in the country. Thus, this work analyzed the necessary data about the speech of the President of the USA and highlighted the importance of the freedoms that the author spoke about. It is essential to point out the contribution they have made to the country. Thus, freedom of speech, freedom, and worship became the basis for the formation of a new moral and ethical code for the country.
