Employment Center for People with Disabilities: Project Plan

The project is an employment center for people with disabilities and any kind of physical or mental limitations. It will connect employers and companies from all over the United States with potential employees. The scope of the project is relatively small with growth potential. The work breakdown structure is the method that allows managing the process more effectively by diving the project into smaller parts (“Work breakdown structure”, 2022).

There are three phases of the project:

  1. Find an office for the project members where all the departments could operate.
  2. Contact all the companies and organizations that are ready to provide working spots for people with disabilities and create the database.
  3. Launch the website where employees and employers could connect and build professional relationships.

The goals of the project are:

  1. Create possibilities for people with disabilities to work.
  2. Organize a space for the productive communication.
  3. Provide a positive social impact for the minority group.

The objectives are:

  1. Promote inclusivity in the workspaces.
  2. Simplify the process of employment for people with limitations.
  3. Reduce the stigma around hiring employees with disabilities.

Rupeshwar used the crucial tool for working on the project because the work breakdown structure allows making the management of the project more effective. The goals and the objectives of the project are clearly defined and correlate with each other and fit the general theme. They have both important criteria such as the opportunities to generate profit and at the same time positively contribute to society. In addition, the three phases for creating the project are logically structured and include all the necessary steps for realizing the idea and making the recreational facility for inner-city children a successful enterprise.
