Public and Private Sector Initiatives

Healthcare services

Access to healthcare services has always been a topic worth discussing since, despite significant efforts, the availability of healthcare remains quite low for a range of groups, children being the most vulnerable ones. In this regard, the creation of initiatives aimed at increasing healthcare access is a very reasonable idea. Public and private sector initiatives can supply resources for assisting children to healthcare organizations. Financial resources are the most obvious type of support that public and private companies can offer, whereas other types of supplies include equipment and relevant medications (U.S. Department of Health and Human Services, n.d.). Moreover, public and private organizations can work on increasing the availability of healthy food and the quality of the environment in which the vulnerable group in question lives.

Economic growth

Moreover, the public and private sectors can produce a massive effect on the economic growth within a state, which will enable addressing some of the disparities. For example, creating job opportunities for citizens will allow managing the factors that prevent a state from experiencing a rise in its GDP. Furthermore, public and private companies can invest in the development of innovative solutions that will affect the development of the state economy. Notably, the changes that the public and private sector can introduce into the economy of a state can also affect the quality, accessibility, and affordability of child healthcare. Primarily, with lower unemployment rates and with greater options for health insurance, community members will be able to use high-quality health services (U.S. Department of Health and Human Services, n.d.). Thus, the promotion of private and public sector development with the focus on the further use of obtained resources in investing in healthcare for children will help to erase a certain portion of inequality that contributes to low healthcare access for children.
