Introduction
Modern society’s foundation is an immediate connection that is provided via social media. The current generation, gen Z, is becoming more involved in recording every second of their life and expressing their identity (Vițelar, 2019). Sharing their experience and getting feedback from their digital peers makes them happy. Simply looking at the world and enjoying the environment is no longer sufficient. Everything that is done or seen must now be recorded in order to share it immediately by uploading it on social media. Meals, gatherings, and celebrations are occasions for people to flaunt their lifestyles. However, this is not necessarily a negative occurrence since the development of modern technology, and the expansion of various platforms makes communication and connection easier. In this sense, it is convenient to use Instagram stories and posts since the former allows users to share daily routines and the latter helps to store memories and capture important moments in one’s life.
Main Body
When it comes to regular posts, there are no limits. As has been mentioned, various parties, meals, and trips can be documented. I post approximately one picture a week, the one that captures the memories best. Among my followers are my close friends and relatives, and since I spend a lot of my time around them and relish these moments, I capture them with pictures and upload them on social media. However, it is also worth mentioning that I take great pride in my social media posts since I take this seriously. I am a perfectionist, and it is vital for me to take high-quality pictures with a decent amount of filters and retouching. This way, Instagram posts help me document the important moments in my life.
As for the Instagram stories, I use them to document my life and my routine. I love sharing funny situations with the people I know, and I especially enjoy receiving feedback and funny stories from my close ones as well. I usually post stories on Instagram around two times a day. These can be pictures of my pets, meals, or funny videos that capture genuine emotions. I believe that you can get to know an individual by looking through their stories since they reveal people’s personalities, hobbies, interests, and backgrounds. There is also another advantage to posting stories on social media. While people often delete photos from their phone galleries, stories are usually stored in the accounts. As a result, it can be exciting to sometimes go through the stories that were posted a year ago or more and reminisce. In this sense, Instagram stories help me document my daily activities and encounters.

Hence, an instantaneous connection made possible by social media is the cornerstone of contemporary civilization. The current generation, known as gen Z, is getting more and more fixated on documenting every moment of their lives. In my own experience, I use Instagram to use photos and stories to capture both little and significant milestones in my life. There are no restrictions on regular postings, and being a perfectionist, I must shoot excellent photos that have a sufficient number of filters and editing. Instagram updates assist me in storing life’s significant moments in this way. Regarding Instagram stories, I use them to record my daily activities. Stories are frequently saved in the accounts, although individuals often erase the images from their phone galleries. In this way, Instagram stories assist me in capturing my everyday interactions and activities.
