Introduction
God is an existing supernatural being associated with trinitarian nature and the unconditional love that He has for His people. The trinity of God consists of the Spirit, the Son and the Father. God takes all these formations since He can fulfil His wishes to people through that trinitarian nature. In a nutshell, there is only one God, who is the father, son and the holy spirit. The modern perception of the Bible may confuse some people to start believing in three Gods rather than the overall God. Trinity Sunday that comes after Pentecost is one of the marks in the Christian Calendar that shows the celebration of a doctrine rather than event. Only one God has the eternal trinitarian nature and exists to offer the unconditional love that is evident to human beings and other animals despite suffering.
Nature of God and the Unconditional Love
Many factors can prove whether or not one understands the nature of God. It is common for Christians to credit everything happening to the world as God’s might work. However, there may be a gap if one fails to understand how God works through the virtues that are possessed in His trinitarian concept. First, God is all-powerful, which can be spotted from the creation of the world and sustaining the entire creation until today. That perspective shows that God can regulate the normal happenings for His praise rather than condemnation. The power of God allows people to reveal the nature that He has and explain it to others through preaching or teaching people the word of God. The all-loving God’s nature is seen every day because human beings are not perfectly complete in their doings, yet God gives them favor in their endeavors. The omnibenevolence aspect keeps Christians safe, progress, and other sustainable issues that are witnessed today.
The nature of God probs Christians to think about His justice to all despite contentious issues that happen in the world. Apostle Paul was one of the Jews who helped people realize a true God has distinct characteristics. Paul told people that the universe is full of spiritual beings, but the power of God can make that which appears impossible to be feasible. Therefore, Christians learn that the nature of God has issues to do with almightiness and powerful aspect that keeps matters happening. Through the nature of God, He sent His only begotten son to come and rescue the world where sin had established. One may wonder how that would be possible, but it is one way to prove that God is not self-centered. Rather, he thinks about His creation.
From the time Adam and Eve sinned in the Garden of Eden, God’s nature is seen as forgiving as He did not destroy human beings. However, the relationship changed whereby people had to be obedient to avoid any possible wrath falling from God. In the book titled Ask the Beasts: Darwin and the God of Love, Elizabeth Johnson helps realize how the incarnation is evident as a sensitive doctrine that gives the nature of God. There is the belief that God is utterly beyond comprehension and has joined the earth as a particular human being or place. Therefore, some people who translate the doctrine as God’s’ living among people’ may help shed more light on how God should be perceived.
When Jesus was in the world, He told his disciples that they should present it through Him whenever they face a problem, as He was a symbol of God. It means that was one version of God being around human beings although, it was for a short time. Until today, God is still with His people through the existence of the Holy Spirit, who controls most of the human being’s stories. The nature of God can be said to be that which lives with people and fulfils the basic requirements hence, unconditional love which is a result of God’s trinity.
There are other factions that may dig deeper to assist in knowing the nature of God. Through highlighting what Charles Darwin said about the creation of human beings, it is possible to grasp the concept that God existed even before evolution started. Darwin may not prove what made the evolution favor the transition of man and not the depletion of the structure that existed before Homo Sapiens. The nature of God says that he allows people to use science to critique his natural capacity, which makes people have academic brilliance and fail to honor God. The Christian paradigm argues that Jesus is God-with-us which again, shows there is an aspect that people need to understand about the nature of God. Following the gospel that Jesus gave to the world, the deeds and words he spoke may carry a deeper meaning and disclosure about God.
There is only one living God whose nature is vast and interesting to understand. Christians are called to learn the God they serve through God’s anointed people and through reading the Bible. Although Darwin termed religion a survival strategy, he admitted that God was the ultimate controller. Through that, Christians learn to distinguish between theological theories and the existence of reality through the power in the hands of a supernatural being, for this case, the Living God. Unconditional love forgives human beings of their inequities and also draws them near a God-centric family. On that note, God allows His people to inherit the anointing from saints so that the world can have peace.
Christology: Loving God in the midst of Suffering
The nature of God is love-centric, and that is why the Holy Bible gives features of love to help people understand who they worship. One of the characteristics of love is that it is non-boastful, which means God does not work to compete with His people. During humiliations, God allows people to suffer so that His power can be manifested through the presence of good and evil. The presence of Jesus Christ showed that humility is a concept that comes from God since He was able to convert suffering into a joy to prove that He is powerful.
Unconditional love helps people today through sinners who may have an extended grace from God even when they pose harm to His creation. The symbolism behind the welcoming of the prodigal son who has breached his father’s wishes teaches that nature that God advocates is unconditional love. Additionally, the story about people who were remunerated equally despite reporting to work different times shows that God treats people with love, and that is what He expects from Christians.
God’s nature also is characterized by the jealous aspect that makes Him feel offended when His people sin. Johnson puts that ‘God suffers’, which means that there is an extent where Christians become annoying to the living God. Classical Christology clarifies through a technical language that the word of God comes to help separate the human and divine nature of God. There is a bond that may be hard to separate for God and human beings. Despite many wrongdoings that people have, God has presented Himself to be accommodating, which shows that there is only one God who can adjust to the sinful nature of people. Jesus suffered like a human being when He was on earth to symbolically prove that God suffers. Johnson uses that expression to show that even a father may not want to see their son suffer the way Jesus did. Therefore, it reveals the true nature of God that He bears the uncertainties that come from His creation.
Conclusion
God exists as only one supernatural being who takes three forms known as the trinity of God. The trinitarian nature of God comprises God the Father, Son and Spirit. God’s nature is characterized by the unconditional love poured to His people through grace, kindness and manifestation through His deeds. God sent Jesus to earth as one way to reveal His power to love people. Therefore, despite many religious affiliations, Christians should maintain that God is the ultimate being characterized by righteousness rather than evil. Theories about God’s creation, such as Darwinian evolution theory, should help Christians understand God more but not critique His nature. God enables all these elements through His unconditional love for His creation.
