Transportation
A woman is recommended to use public transport based on the situation. Bus or trolleybus routes in the food desert district are quite limited (Leuthart et al., 2021). At the same time, taxis provide a better service but are much more expensive. In this case, a nurse may advise JK to use public transport services and then get to the desired store by walking or using a bicycle. Additionally, the trip’s timing depends on the established work schedule of transport drivers and the remoteness of stops from shops.

The lack of a good number of grocery stores is one of the US acute problems. In this case, a nurse practitioner assesses food security and provides comprehensive support to citizens. They provide all the necessary resources to residents of certain localities and areas without access to high-quality and healthy food. At certain points, a detailed nutrition plan and the costs necessary for implementing the developed program are drawn up.

In fact, there are several significant differences between the areas. JK community is about 39,5 million people, about 13% of the US population (The Annie E. Casey Foundation, 2021). The majority of the population are black people, residents with low incomes and levels of education. Miami Dade County census data is approximately 2,716,940 people, where only about 80 percent are whites (Miami-Dade County). Therefore, the JK community consists of poor black people, whereas white people with higher incomes mostly inhabit Miami Dade County.
