Introduction
The topic selected for the research is how to leverage technology to improve learning. The primary motivation for choosing the topic arises from the trends in technology which allow learners and educators to use technological tools to make learning more enjoyable. During the COVID-19 pandemic, when schools were closed, and education jeopardized, only educational centers with technology continued their education. Incorporating technology in education is the prerequisite for higher-quality learning since it increases access to material and interaction between teachers and learners.
Discussion
In addition, technology is changing operations in different sectors, such as business, through online marketing and transactions where important dealings are done over the Internet. Thus, the topic is also selected because the education sector is evolving, and a platform is needed where the teachers, students, and other stakeholders will interact. Moreover, since sustainability is needed for the continuity of education, technology significantly promotes learning regardless of geographical location. More and more students across the globe receive education, including international degrees, online through developed websites (Palvia et al., 2018). Consequently, the importance of incorporating technology in education is underscored further. The thesis statement of the research will be the following: the use of technology in the classroom helps improve students’ academic achievements and develop personally contributing to the quality of learning.
Using technology in the classroom increases learner engagement and help teacher personalize lesson plan leading to higher knowledge transfer. Most of the transactions in the world today use technology, and when it is used in school, it will help prepare students holistically to face the world’s challenges. Technology further offers different delivery choices and makes lessons fun and entertaining (Hashim, 2018). As a result, student learning experiences will be improved in the discourse. Research by Krause et al. (2020) proves that technology increases collaboration in classes. A more inclusive learning environment is achieved through technology. Further, previous research by Shomirzayev, (2020) also proved that schools that have leveraged technology in the past have better educational outcomes compared to schools that have not yet incorporated technology in their learning.
Conclusion
At the same time, technology optimizes educational processes, increases students’ motivation, and prepares them for work duties in the future (Raja & Nagasubramani, 2018). The research aims to investigate the benefits of technology in education and encourages schools to incorporate it for better outcomes.
