Data on this objective is vital because it shows other illnesses affecting patients with CKD; this is key in developing treatment measures for those with concurring diseases.
These study objectives are formulated so that the findings will promote autonomy and social justice among the study population. Autonomy is the patients’ right to make choices decisions about their medical services without the health care providers influencing the decision (Molina-Mula & Gallo-Estrada, 2020). However, it permits medics to educate the patient to make informed decisions without telling the patients what to do. In the previous, physicians made all the selections for their patients. However, currently, patients have all the right to choose what kind of treatment they want to receive. A study done under the above four objectives will promote autonomy among CKD patients in African American and Latino communities because it will provide more information on available services. With the correct information, patients will choose what they are comfortable with, what they can afford, and what they feel works better for them (Berger et al., 2017). Secondly, the study will promote autonomy in that policymakers will enhance needed care services, giving citizens more choices as it pertains to CKD treatment.
Secondly, the study objects will promote social justice, which is the equitable distribution of benefits and burdens in the community. It involves establishing social connections and institutions to encourage honest relationships. Its primary focus is on balancing between societal advantages and disadvantages (Hibbert, 2017). Through social justice, society shares collateral, responsibilities, and fair distribution of resources. However, the latter is not always the case, and some parts of society get disadvantaged in sharing resources for different reasons. The health care system is mandated with community social justice by ensuring a fair distribution of medical equipment in all parts of society (Lucas, 2020). In health care, it refers to desirable and undesirable medical outcomes. The four study objectives will promote social justice in two ways. First, they will expose unpleasant health conditions that hinder treatment of CKD among African Americans and Latinos. Secondly, the research outcomes will push policymakers into making healthy changes where necessary, promoting social justice in the involved communities.
