This theory will make it possible to understand which groups are the main ones in solving the problem and how they will help to achieve the desired goals. In this case, we can distinguish two groups: employees and the community. They are dependent on each other and have a significant impact on the company’s development.

Canterbury Bankstown residents discovered that rubbish collectors mixed red-bin garbage with yellow-bin recycling. That threw a considerable number of garbage cans into the truck, about seven hundred pieces (Baker, 2022, para. 3). It has been proven that similar activity happened for ten years. Mayor Khal Asfour stated that the practice occurred with houses that were difficult to reach on narrow streets (Baker, 2022, para. 2). At the same time, that good practice needs to be developed so that many local councils could apply (Vincent, 2022). In 2021 residents complained about early rubbish pickups that started at four o’clock and disturbed people’s and their children’s sleep, which affected their mental health and normal functioning during the day (Taylor, 2021). There were stories in which corruption and blackmail played a key role. As a result, it was set to implement new trucks and other equipment which supports camera technology. They also decreased the amount of garbage and recycling bins and planned an educational campaign.

The stakeholder theory implies that a business that provides services should value all stakeholders, including customers, partners, shareholders, etc. It describes a healthy relationship between companies and their workers, clients, investors, and every other participant. According to stakeholder theory, employees are vital in shaping the company’s effectiveness and achieving goals (Grift, 2018). After the employees, it is worth investigating how users feel about the company and whether they are interested in it.

Analysis

Recycling remains one of the most important fields for the Australian population. In 2018 ratings, Australia was twenty-first on the list of top countries in recycling, with a forty-one percent recycling rate (Grift, 2018). In 2022 Australia produces around seventy-six million tonnes of waste every year. Even though there is room to grow and develop in this field, all these facts signify that recycling is vital for Australians.

Achieving the organization’s goals can only happen in good cooperation with its employees and customers. Here it is worth noting that the employees who will be motivated to perform their work effectively are always in the first place and the customers who will see the results of practical work and will continue to trust this company come second. The interest of employees is that they have an incentive for practical work, for the set goals. As for the community, they are simply interested in the active removal of garbage and good recycling.

The company has the task of preventing and responding to contaminants entering the recycling bin. In this way, they adhered to what they saw. That was the result of their actions, and they understood the vital thing that the community could lose trust in others. Thus, we see the application of stakeholder theory because the vision of those who directly influence the company was involved. As a result, the decision to increase the number of trucks and apply new technology to monitor the collection of garbage cans. In this way, all parties in this situation will benefit.

Identification of Three Alternative Solutions

One of the paramount qualities of a successful and influential organization is equivalent care for every stakeholder connected to the company. The trust of an average client creates a proper image of the company—it the vital to devise alternative solutions for that occasion. One of the approachable solutions can be the change of rubbish collectors’ working hours, starting at six instead of four. That way, residents will have better sleep and feel better. One of the reasons for early work was the COVID-19 concerns. However, if the workers respect coronavirus rules, it would not be a problem for people. It also lets the householders see how trash is sorted and strengthens their confidence and trust in the service provider.

Another alternative solution is to find people guilty of this broken system, including the ones that made decisions and apply different types of punishment, from dismissal to educational conversation. The last alternative solution is to provide an even service across the country. Other councils stated that the truck had no problem; it had the optimal size (Baker, 2022, para. 5). Which means that the necessary equipment is enough to deliver high-quality services. Ensuring proper technology and facilities raises maintenance and consequently affects people’s confidence in the company’s care.

Recommendation

The breach of commitments and agreements causes a bad reputation for the company and government. Thus, it is recommended the change its approach to service. An even service across the country is real and achievable—that need to guide their employees in service quality and eliminate unauthorized actions during work hours. Employees improve the company’s efficiency – accordingly, the company receives many positive reviews. In addition, it will increase its recognition and popularity. Staff is the basis of all processes in the company, so that makes a comfortable way of working. In addition, stable work predicts the efficiency of garbage collection and cleanliness. Because employees are the leading force in fulfilling the set goals and, in general, the high-quality result of work. In this way, the company’s image will remain good among the community. High-quality service is the key to successful cooperation in any field.

Conclusion

Therefore, one can conclude that the Canterbury Bankstown recycling issue is about equity needs. Every Australian region and city deserves to be treated the same. People’s work should not violate ethics, deteriorate mental health or make people angry. There always is and will be room for development and growth, especially in the government’s communication with its population. The council’s attitude to this area needs to be changed.
