I chose the Health and Quality of Life Outcomes journal as it is consistent with my academic and practical interests in finding the connection between a disease and its impact on patients’ health outcomes in the cultural context. Consistent with Edwards (2015), I consider that practice change starts with new interventions and recommendations based on the revealed findings. By publishing my scholarly project results, I hope to contribute to addressing the health concern of obesity and associated disease in the Hispanic population.
