Finances are a big problem, especially when you live in a country where most things are expensive, and the income one gets is not sufficient. Overton shares his secret where he says that everything he buys, he ensures is more of a need than a want. For example, Overton built his house in 1945, and still today, he is content with his home. Overton states during an interview with National Geographic that “it is good to have a spiritual life, but you got to live it.” On the other hand, Overton’s secret to living long is to have someone close to love you and care for you. He makes his life better by doing activities together with his wife, like visiting the hospital and buying groceries, and these activities make them get along together. Overton, in his interview, mentioned that they have fun together. “If you give up you are through! You just doubting yourself.” Words of wisdom from Overton to the young people that it is vital to believe in yourself and work towards achieving better to live a long life.
