Introduction
Since the start of history, humans have been developing emerging innovations. From the creation of spears and knives made of rocks and sticks to help in the capture and slaughter of animals for sustenance, through the first invention of printing and the computer, there has been a long history of innovation (TEDx Talks, 2014). In these centuries, technological progress has been relatively rapid. With innovative tools and machines always being invented and improved, it was unavoidable that, in addition to the latest aspects of these new advances, people would assess the negative aspects and attempt to criticize the latest tech.
Innovation and Modern Technology
Every day, a new product is released in an effort to win the customer war against the other firm. Apple released a phone that could do everything, and no other business in the smartphone industry could match it. At the time, it was the applications market that blew the other mobile phone providers out of the market. This was good because individuals could save data for business, learning, and pleasure on their phones. Nevertheless, the negative assertions came as well: too pricey, quick battery drain, and could a technology like this really eliminate face-to-face contact, to mention a few. Because it relies on what information is used for and who uses it, innovation has always had bad influences.
The evolution of gaming technology has been the subject of some of the most critical negative assertions in recent years. Grand Theft Auto was created, and it comprised of hijacking automobiles, shooting and injuring strangers, and included more unpleasant things such as prostitute characters. After a shooting event in which a teenage kid killed two police officers and a technician in the United States, computer games have received negative coverage. It shows how electronics have altered the boy’s psychological illness and his perspective on life, demonstrating that it is nothing more than a game. They claim that technology is taking possession of the youngster and has driven him to perform such a violent deed (Tarafdar, 2021). The argument against the damaging allegations that information is wicked and affects people’s thinking is that this is one of the few examples of this type of technology.
Modern Technology has unquestionably benefited businesses, resulting in an explosion of new uses and platforms that have spread throughout the workplace. Nonetheless, the speed and extent of the shift have been considerably more than anybody could have predicted, and they are threatening to exceed our human capacity to cope. The more work and resources people put into staying on top of constantly evolving programs and navigating massive amounts of data, the better. The less effective they are at work, the worse it is for them. They are more prone to be hurried and rushed when dealing with information, leaving less time for careful analysis and problem-solving, leading to a greater likelihood of individuals sticking to patterns and what they know.
The growth of mobile technology has had a significant impact on the effect of social media. While brand media raises awareness of societal issues, the issue of whether this awareness results in meaningful change remains unsolved. People claim that social communication has pushed individuals to use machines to voice their worries about economic and social issues rather than engaging in real-world activities. With the growth of social media, this is becoming more difficult to find a business that does not utilize one or more online platforms to communicate with customers and clients (AsapSCIENCE, 2014). Companies understand the importance of using social media to communicate with customers and earn revenue. Businesses have realized that digital networks can be utilized to gather information, increase demand, and produce tailored product offerings. Both conventional stone companies and, of course, e-commerce require these obligations.
Organ transplants, which are often depicted as a gift of life, are now regularly done to substitute failing kidneys, hearts, and damage to the liver and lungs. As physicians’ abilities have improved, so has the desire for kidney transplants, to the point that needs have simply overtaken supply. The world has sought to catch up by loosening the criteria for donating organs, such as permitting unrelated live donor contributions. However, as the scope of these restrictions has grown, so has the potential for abuse. Living donors face risk by undergoing surgery and may have medical consequences, as a Chinese youngster discovered after donating his kidney for an iPad (Lim, 2011). While the importance of informed medical permission for organ donors is emphasized, it is simple to envision how someone may be pressured into giving an organ by an external authority, personal constraints, or socioeconomic difficulties.
Conclusion
To summarize, among other aspects, innovation is going to make it easier to produce, construct buildings, and transport, basically linking all regions on the earth, adding to development, and paving the way for businesses to thrive and enterprises to run. Upgraded technology provides a lot of benefits, including the capacity to save time and cost while also simplifying life by reducing the need for physical labor. Upgraded technology, on the other hand, has the downside of causing humans to lose their employment to robots that will perform their work for them.
