Bullying from Religious Perspective

I want to talk about the rising problem of bullying in the American educational system, how harmful these behaviors may be, and how to stop it in a way that pleases God. I want to bring up the social issue of bullying and persuade that solving the issue will contribute to the development of a more loving environment, which is what God values and is in line with the Scriptures. Raising knowledge of the prevalence, effects, and best practices for identifying and preventing bullying behavior can help to partially and respectfully address the societal issue of bullying. I will cover the different forms of bullying and their devasting effects, why the answer must be founded on actively searching out and putting an end to the conduct, and how this solution makes life for kids more loving and godly. This will highlight the great significance of this societal issue.

The best way to safeguard kids against the effects of bullying is to identify it early on and take steps to stop it. Differences in appearance, religious convictions, cultural origins, and both physical and mental disability are the most frequent causes of bullying (Ryan & Gardner, 2019). Our kids can live more kindly and holy lives if we foster an atmosphere free from bullying. Love of one’s neighbor as oneself is one of God’s most essential instructions for mankind (Matthew 19:19). Bullying is wrong, and if we engage in it or enable bullying to occur, we disobey God’s instructions. We let wrath, hatred, and immorality into the lives of children when we encourage them to bully or be bullied. We can, however, allow children to blossom in their love for God and enhance their connection with Him by eradicating the issue of bullying.

Bullying is undoubtedly a significant societal issue in America, and it may have incredibly negative, long-lasting impacts on one’s physical and emotional health. If we ignore this issue, it will only spread, resulting in a rise in the number of people who experience mental health issues, self-harm, and suicidal thoughts (Ryan & Gardner, 2019). The best course of action is to become aware of the warning signs of bullying and discover how to stop the behavior before it ever begins. By doing this, we can make sure that our kids are raised in a secure setting where they may flourish and spread God’s love.
